Evaluation process in CBSE is more lineant than GSEB whereas CBSE encourages analytical and creative answers whereas GSEB encourages word to word answers. A student in GSEB may or may not find it difficult to crack competitive exams.
One advantage of CBSE is that the latest question paper pattern is based on competitive exams which help students to study for their competitive exams whereas GSEB's question paper pattern requires some memorization and help students to study for GUJCET.
Both the boards are equal now in terms of syllabus(Maths,Science and English) but not in terms of assessment in board exams. CBSE has multiple types of objective questions such as True/False, assertion-reason, match the following, case-based questions etc which are interesting to answer whereas in GSEB there are only MCQ questions as objective questions and the rest are short and long answer type questions which are also in CBSE.
Gujarat Board is better for BSc than CBSE if you want to study in Gujarat but if you want to improve your critical thinking skills then you should go for CBSE as these are important while pursuing a bachelor's degree in Science.

Hello aspirant.
For securing 90 percentile in GUJCET 2020 under the open category your rank would be between 4K-9K. And for that rank, you may not get a computer science engineering seat at any of the 3 colleges.
But if you get it then I suggest you go to Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar next you prefer Nirma University, Ahmedabad and then go for Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. But you have a good chance to get a seat at CSE in Devang Patel Institute of Advance Technology and Research; Government Engineering College, Rajkot; Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Anand; Shree Swami Atmanand Saraswati Institute of Technology, Surat and many more colleges.
Hence I suggest you go to IELTS in Canada or CSE in the above colleges. You can also use the below predictor to predict colleges for your rank and find out which is the best fit for you.
