I have failed in 2 subject in 12 gseb so can i give retest in the current year or have to give exam in next year?... plz replyy

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 15th Jun, 2020
Hello.
If you fail in 2 subject in GSEB board then you can give compartment exam in the same year which is generally conducted in July but depending upon the condition it may vary, as application forms for supplementary exams  are open so you can apply for it, if you will fail in it then you will have to reappear in March next year.
Best of luck.

do we get grace marks in gseb re exam taken in July?

Sohamsengupta8 14th Jun, 2020

Hello student,

Gujarat secondary education board or GSEB will conduct GRE examination for compartmental students in July.

According to the board you should have minimum 33% marks to get passed.

If you can't achieve this you may get Grace marks in subject.

Hope this will help you

hello i am devnath and i am from gseb board i want to know about can i get grace in 2 subject when i give exam in july and what is criteria of giving Grace marks

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 8th Jun, 2020

hi,

see grace marks is generally given when there is large number of students can not qualify in any particular exam, or the questions level is high enough compare to previous years, grace marks criteria totally depends on exam board authority and all the decisions must be taken by them, so it can not possibly predict of  grace marks before commencement of any exam.

if I repeat my whole year of 12th GSEB board then will I be considered as a private Candidate ?

Sikkandarbatcha M 5th Jun, 2020

Hi,

Yes you will be considered as a private candidate incase you are going to reappear for the exam again in the next year. My advice is to get pass mark in the current year itself. Dont waste an another year. All the best.

I hope it helps.

Sir I got 76 percentile of science theory in gseb 12 boards, now how much marks should I have to bring in gujcet to get admission in government college.

Soumili Majumdar 4th Jun, 2020
Hello there,
As you know, GUJCET takes into consideration both your board percentile and your GUJCET percentile in 60:40 ratio, to calculate the ACPC percentile. This percentile determines your rank.

Now, this "marks vs percentile" changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the performance in boards, etc.

For getting admission in Government colleges, you need to rank within 10000. For this, you need atleast 87-92 ACPC percentile.

It's a little difficult to balance it with the boards marks. A score of 110 out of 120 would be required for this.

You can also check the Government colleges, along with their cut-off ranks and fee structure, in the link given below :

Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

I want to know that 2nd or 3rd trial qualify of gseb science in B group with 250 marks in neet so can I take admission in BHMS or other medical field in government collage?? bcoz many other people told me that in MBBS only 1 eligible marksheet , not 2 or 3 ... plz suggest me right!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Jul, 2020

To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. Now there is also no upper age limit for NEET. So if you fulfill this criteria, even if it takes you 2-3 attempts to pass your 12th, you are eligible for NEET and can take admission. But 250 marks might not get you a seat in a GMC. You will need atleast 500 and above based on the Category you belong to.

can i change gseb board to cbse board after appearing class 11 science in gseb. and if yes then what is procces for addmision for cbse school in 12 science?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

Ayush, unfortunately you cannot change your Board in your 11th. If you want to do that, you should repeat your 11th. For example, if you want to move from GSEB to CBSE, you need to repeat your 11th with CBSE and then complete your 12th which means you will have to forgo a year.
