Hi, GST law is a new and evolving indirect tax law in India. Thus, it is bound to rise doubts in the minds of tax payers concerning registration, return filing,refunds claim and other complainces in GST. So the government has introduced the concept of GST Practitioner to assist tax payers. The GST practitioner is a person approved by the central government or state government.
The eligibility for that is ,you should have to complete a graduation or studies related to commerce, business,law in any recognized Indian university which is approved by law. You should pass in the GST practitioner exam. For more details about the examination vist ( cleartax.in).
Hi Abhi,
Please note that Educational institutions like pre-schools, schools, and colleges receive an exemption from GST. So, colleges do not charge fees including GST to students. However, on short term courses, they give around 18% of taxation as GST.
Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
Hello,
Marked price = Rs. 12,000
Manufacturer sell printer at 15% discount to wholesaler
Discount = 12000 * 15/100 => Rs. 1800
Discount = 1800
The price of printer after discount = 12000-1800
= Rs. 10200
GST = 12%
Tax payed by wholesaler = 12% of 10200
= Rs. 1224
The wholesaler sell at 10% discount on marked price to shopkeeper
Discount = 10% of 12000
= Rs. 1200
The price of printer after discount = 12000-1200 => Rs. 10800
Tax payed by shopkeeper = 12% of 10800 => Rs. 1296.
the price paid by the wholesaler inclusive of tax= tax payed by the shopkeeper - tax payed by wholesaler
= 1296-1224 = Rs. 72
Hope you find this information helpful.
Thank you.

Hi
As per your question according to the data I provide fee details per semester , you'll calculate of for
years.
For applicants admitted through JEE (Main) / RBSE mode:
One-time payment:
Caution money Rs. 10,000.00 (Refundable at the time of leaving the Institute)
Charges per-semester:
Registration fee Rs. 3,000.00
Tuition fee Rs. 82,500.00
*Other charges Rs. 41,500.00
Total Amount Rs. 1,37,000.00
Applicants are, therefore, required to pay Rs. 1,37,000/- (Rs. One Lakh Thirty Seven Thousand only) for
admission to the Institute within the first semester.
Note:
1. Other charges includes Hostel accommodation, Internet, Activity charges, Building Fund, Mess & Food
charges etc.
2. The Institute runs a skeleton bus company which may be availed on payment basis.
3. The Governing Council of LNMIIT reviews the fee structure and other charges annually. there'll be an
annual increase of 10% (approximately) in fee and other charges.
4. The LNMIIT may be a residential Institute. Therefore, staying within the Institute's hostel and joining
the mess is compulsory for all the scholars . This condition could also be relaxed if
a) there's a shortage of accommodation thanks to increased intake or the other reason out of hand .
b) a student features a genuine reason to remain outside the campus. during this case the institute will
take the ultimate decision on case by case basis
5 If a student is permitted for day-boarding, then s/he are going to be refunded the Hostel fees and
Mess maintenance charges amounting up to Rs 19,000/- per semester.
Hope helpful.
Hi Rakshit,
GST is Goods Service Tax which is a common tax on goods and services imposed by Central Government.
Normally, supply involves two independent persons. However, GST makes transactions between two branches of the same legal entity in different States/ countries or two different registrations within the same State also taxable under GST. Transactions of supply of goods between principals and agents which are counted for tax in present regime are taxable supplies under GST as these have been treated as supplies under Schedule I of the CGST Act.
