cut-off of IIT Guwahati for general??

Piyush kesarwani 16th May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Looking at the previous year IIT Guwahati cutoff, for B.tech admissions 2021, IIT Guwahati has set the highest cutoff score for the CSE branch at 439 (OP) and closed at 600, for the general category candidates. Further, you can consider that in order to get into iit Guwahati you have to score a minimum aggregate marks of around 75 in jee advance exam to get various branches in iit Guwahati.

Further please note that the above predictions is totally based on previous year JEE ADVANCE cutoff, and it may vary for this year as the cutoff for jee advance bound to chabge every year. The jee advance cutoff depends on various factors like : difficulty level of the paper, number of aspirants appearing, previous year cutoff, etc.

Further to know more about the jee advance cutoff for previous years you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff/amp&ved=2ahUKEwiF9Kj_6OP3AhXu63MBHY9hCJsQFnoECAQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2VOKI-nLKDIek2nav5VUOi

I hope that this will help.

Gimt guwahati Nirf ranking. National importance of tag. how is ece branch in the college

ayanmukherjee045 15th May, 2022

Dear aspirant,

Girjinanda chowdhury institute of management and technology, guhawati offers admission to undergraduate , postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The institute offers admission to B.tech, B.sc,BBA, M.CA,Mtech.

The admission in the btech programme is done by Assam cee and jee mains . The counselling is held in the premises of azara.

As per my view the engineering branch is not a very good one in this college. The placements for the ece branch is not a good one.

what is the cutoff for iit karaghpur , roorkee, guwahati for jee advanced ece female ews from hyd like min matms,rank,%ile...

Sharon Rose Student Expert 30th Mar, 2022

Hello,

Admission to Under Graduate Engineering courses in IITs is based on rank secured in JEE Advanced. Last year the cut off was as follows in round 6 of JOSAA Counselling for EWS category

  • Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati: 839
  • Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee: 737
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) : 445
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering with M.Tech. in any of the listed specializations (5 Years, Bachelor and Master of Technology (Dual Degree): 1035

Note that IIT Kharagpur does not offer ECE but it offers four year Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering course and five year integrated Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering course. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. The marks vs rank trend for JEE Advanced changes every year. SO it is quite difficult to indicate the score to secure a particular rank. Analysing the previous year cut off you need to secure a rank under 1000 (EWS) in JEE Advanced. To secure such rank you need to score 50% of total score. This is an estimated score the actual rank may vary. To check the previous year cut off use the link below

which iiit is best iiit Bangalore delhi Guwahati allahabad in terms of placements?

Koushik 19th Apr, 2022

IIIT Bangalore is better than IIIT Allahabad. In term of placement cse of iiitb(24l) is much ahead of iiita ece(15.5l, IT is 23l). In term of research, iiita is not considered very good but iiitb is great institution. IT of IIIT Allahabad can be considered option over IIITB cse due to campus life, a year less and fees but IIITB over ece at iiita for sure. But every college has its own importance and priority

Hope this will help you
