As per my knowledge , nits would be a better option if you compare with hcu. It has good placements provided you do your course from a decent nit. Some of the nits even has good infrastructure ,good research outlook. On a average you can get a package of atleast 7-8 lakhs from nit.

For Hyderabad Central University physics PG admission or entrance test is done in every year for taking admission in MA or MSc admission in different subjects.For admission in pg physics in MSc physics admission candidates have to secure more than 60% marks in entrance examination plus 12standard examination result for admission in MSC physics for science PG of Hyderabad Central University .  Total marks is 100 .This exam is taken in 2 groups in  groupA there is 25 marks and in second groupB there is 75 marks.

Your AIR is too high to get a seat in any NIT. But you can try your luck in the spot round.

HCU 2019 closing rank was 690(UR). So there are no changes in HCU also.

But you will surely get a seat in HBTU kanpur and IPU delhi. These institutes aslo takes admission based on NIMCET rank. And, HBTU kanpur forms are still available... :-)

You can get a seat in the NIT with your rank..but it  is not sure that you will your desired branch...

As NIMCET is also a good college ..so if you don't get the NIT don't be sad ..It is also a good reputation college

considering your All India Rank it seems very difficult to secure seat in any of the 11 NITs taking part in NIMCET as even for OBC 3544 is a loose rank because considering last year cut off even NIT Agartala takes admission till 1700 rank

well but you can try in these NITs as the take admission on loose ranks also
