Greetings Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. I see that your rank in neet examination is 185735. According to your rank your marks should be around 420-425. With the marks scored yes there are chances for you to get a government seat for BAMS in Himachal Pradesh. BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery is basically an Ayurveda traditional healing art based undergraduate medical programme in India. BAMS course provides complete knowledge about 'Ashtanga Ayurveda' along with scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training. The duration of the course is about 5.5 years with last 6 months being your internship.

These are few of the Ayurved Colleges you could apply for BAMS in Himachal Pradesh.

1. Rajiv Gandhi Government Post graduate Ayurvedic College, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.

2.  Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

3.  Shiva Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Chandpur, Himachal Pradesh.

4. Shiva Ayurvedic College Hospital, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.

hi i am ananya i was born in bilaspur himachal pradesh. and completd my 11 and 12 from punja so can i get admission in niit in hp???? plzz help me out thisss

Anurag Khanna 3rd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See if you were born in Himachal Pradesh and holds the domicile of Himachal Pradesh then you are eligible for admission to NIT Hamirpur under Home state quota and merely passing class 11th and 12th from Punjab will not provide you the domicile of Punjab hence you can get admission to NIT Hamirpur under Home state quota of Himachal Pradesh also  you have benefit of female quota. Note that the final allotment of seat would be done only on the basis of JEE-Main rank so try to get a good rank.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

492 marks , ews rank 14004 , can i get any govt medical college through ews quota ?? My state domicile is Uttar pradesh . Can i get college in Himachal Pradesh through all india quota ews reservation in lower colleges ??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Nov, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then

>>>> With  492  marks,

You hold  a   low chance for an mbbs seat in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2020,  606 marks  for ews category was the cut off / lowest marks  to get a seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up/amp

You have chances for mbbs in private medical college under UP state quota which are listed below  :-

  • Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly:- 491 marks

  • School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida:- 448

  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut:- 416 marks

  • Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Lucknow

  • National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut

  • United Institute of Medical Sciences, Prayagraj

  • Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Gajraula

  • FH Medical College, Agra

  • Varun Arjun Medical College, Shahjahanpur

And a few more

UNDER all india counselling,

For government mbbs colleges In Himachal pradesh or any other states , your chances for  government mbbs colleges is even lower because you will be eligible for 15 % all india quota in other states for which cut off goes even higher

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off marks in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted  for 100 % deemed university seats   :-

----------) K.S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru:- 491 marks

----------) Rural Medical College and PIMS, Loni:- 489 marks

----------) Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Kochi:- 479 marks

----------) SDU Medical College, Kolar:- 466 marks

----------) SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

----------) Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

i have 305 marks in neet exam. can i get govt medical college seat at himachal pradesh in general category.

Kashish Saxena 5th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

On the basis of previous year cutoffs trend, it is very difficult for you to get government seat for MBBS or BDS in general category in Himachal Pradesh. For government medical college you must score atleast 610+ marks in NEET UG exam. However you can get admission in private medical colleges and deemed universities both in your state and other states such as:

  • Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Solan
  • NIMS University, Jaipur
  • Yenepoya University, Mangalore

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted to various factors such as number of students participated in counselling, number of students attempted exam, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too:

Im a Delhi student who completed 12th in delhi and live in delhi . I have ST certificate of Himachal Pradesh. Am i eligible for JAC delhi ST delhi region reservation or i have to issue my ST card from Delhi (Central) Govt.? Can someone tell me can it be done or i cannot get the reservation

piyush singh 6th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant

The thing which you have to do is check if the caste which falls under ST category in Himachal Pradesh also falls under ST category in Delhi too, because some castes differ from state to state. Also there is a separate Central Delhi list for SC category, so it's very difficult to say that your caste would fall under that list.

So your best option is to get a SC Certificate from Delhi.

Hope this helps
