Hi Honey,
As an IB student giving the NIOS on-demand exam and opting for Transfer of Credit, it is important to select the subjects wisely as in accordance with your aspirations in NEET. Here is the step to take the correct call: Subjects for Transfer of Credit (TOC) The subject can be transferred to their account with up to two subjects where they have really performed well. According to their IB marks, it has been considered good selections for TOC as listed below: Hindi (4): As it’s your highest score, transferring this credit ensures you can focus on NEET-related subjects. English (3): Since language subjects are not required for NEET, transferring English is logical and reduces your workload. Subjects for On-Demand Examination To become eligible for NEET, you must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in the 12th-grade equivalent (40% for reserved categories). Considering your scores and concentration on NEET, for NIOS you have to choose following: Biology (3): It is biology-saturated for NEET so make a strong base, prepare hard for this particular subject. Chemistry (2): It is definitely required for NEET. Score well on this subject. Mathematics/Physics (3): Pick one according to your convenience and capability. If you find it easier, it can actually complement your scores and cut down your workload. Else, physics is part and parcel of NEET, so put it first if needed. Plan Focus on Core Subjects for NEET: Be fully prepared for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. All these are the pillars to success in NEET. Use TOC Smartly: Transferring Hindi and English saves time and keeps you focused on science subjects. Plan Your Study Schedule: Spend 50% of your study hours on Biology because it carries significant weightage in NEET. Divide the remaining hours between Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics. Steps to Follow Apply for NIOS On-Demand Examination: Select Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics as subjects for the on-demand exams. Apply for TOC: Add your Hindi and English IB scores. Study Strategically: Biology: Refer to NCERT books for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Solve NEET-oriented questions and previous years' papers. You can now better streamline your preparation and enhance eligibility by focusing on NEET subjects in your NIOS exams and using TOC for non-NEET subjects.
You can go for NEET exam as Code 7 will be the NEET qualifying code for candidates from overseas course like IB EXAM .The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will decide whether a given course is equivalent to Class 12 boards. The appropriate marks will be determined by AIU if the qualifying exam is graded.
