History
Hello Aspirant,
An "Advanced Master's Degree" in Ancient Indian History and Culture is usually a specialized M.A. in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology .
Since you have a Post-Graduation in History, you're eligible . Many universities like Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), University of Allahabad (CMP Degree College's affiliate), and Visva-Bharati University offer such programs. Admission often involves an entrance exam (like CUET-PG) or is merit-based. Look for applications opening around July-August 2025 .
Placements for History and Language Sciences at the University of Hyderabad are generally limited due to the nature of these courses, which are more academic. However, the university has strong academic reputation, and students often pursue research or competitive exams.
Economics at Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has a growing reputation. Placement support is improving, but many students go for higher studies or government exams after graduation.
It is unlikely that the exact same passage from the 2015 Class 10th History paper will be repeated in your exam. However, a new passage based on the same chapter "Print Culture and the Modern World" might appear.
So, it’s better to focus on understanding the chapter well and practicing reading comprehension.
Hi! Yes, Munna Lal College does offer PhD programs — but it's important to check the specific department you’re interested in, since seats and criteria can vary.
If you’ve completed your post-graduation with the required marks and have cleared any entrance (if applicable), you should be eligible
I’d suggest visiting the college website or calling their admission office directly to get the most accurate info on fees and intake for PhD.
Hello,
The YBN university is a very good option for the PhD and research. If you want to find interest in research about a specific subject, you can grow your career, but the placement opportunities exist here but are limited and also depend on your specialization and career path. S, PhD is a good option for this institute.
I hope it will clear youe query!!
Yes, you are right. As per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 (https://www.indiacode.nic.in/bitstream/123456789/15939/1/the_rights_of_persons_with_disabilities_act%2C_2016.pdf) , a person with benchmark disability (40% or more) including mental illness like OCD is eligible for reservation in government institutions like NITs and IITs .
Now, regarding the medical fitness certificate :
If the format says the candidate must not have any mental illness, then it goes against the RPwD Act.
The Act clearly says that a person with mental illness (like OCD) cannot be denied admission just because of their disability.
So, if you have 40% OCD disability and are otherwise medically fit to pursue the course, you should not be denied admission .
You can inform the institute about the RPwD Act and your rights under it.
If needed, you can also request a revised medical fitness format that is inclusive of disabilities.
Hope it helps !
