M.A history is a two year post graduate program. students should have passed graduation with Honours in History or History as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognised universities/colleges of the country.
Different universities conduct different entrance examinations. there has not been any specific syllabus provided. However, you must go through the previous year question papers of the university you are applying to. And remember to prepare well from undergrad history syllabus.

Masters in history is study of past and how we see past in today's time. It is a two year masters program for which you need to complete to bachelors with history as subject for certain universities, while few universities provide admissions if you clear their entrance exams even without having history in your graduation.
CUET PG is good option for you as many makor central and state Universities are conducting their exams through it.

Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, English, Bengali, Punjabi, and Odia.
1B( elective language)
19 languages. Choose any one
French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.
Domain-specific subjects.
B1
Accountancy/Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/Business Economics, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Sanskrit.
B2
Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Tradition Practises in India, Fine Arts/ Visual Arts/ Commercial Arts, Teaching Aptitude, Agriculture, Mass Media/Mass Communication, Physical Education/NCC/Yoga, and Performing Arts.
For DU CUET, these are the norms
One language paper ( mandatory )
Three domain subjects ( mandatory )
A required percentage in language paper
For B.A History (Hons.)
One language from list A, any two subjects from B1 and one subject from either B1 or B2.
Your score in the above-mentioned subject will be computed to decide the rank.
So, you're not eligible for admission to DU through CUET UG.

CUET 2022 Exam pattern
There are 4 categories
Section IA – 13 Languages
Section IB – 19 Languages
Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
Section III – General Test
There are two slots in this exam.
Slot-1
You can choose a maximum of 4 exams in Slot 1.
This comprises one language from Section IA, utmost of two domain-specific subjects (Section II) and one General exam (Section III).
So, according to your subject combination if your score marks are greater than the cutoff then you will get admission to DU.
For slot 2
One language from Section IA & IB and an utmost of four domain-specific subjects from Section II. OR
Two languages from Section IA & IB and a maximum of three domain-specific subjects from Section II.
General Test
Subjects
General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/s tat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
