Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Pauri (HNBGU) is an NAAC Grade A college with a score of  3.11/4.

Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak (IGNTU) is an NAAC Grade B college with a score of 2.8/4.

On basis of arts college, both the universities are more or less similar. Both the universities are government universitities.

Just on the basis of NAAC scores and grades of the colleges I would say HNBGU would be a better choice over IGNTU.

The university offers various UG and PG courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, etc. It is Recognized by PCI, AICTE, NAAC, and UGC and admission is based on Merit and Entrance-based with accepted exam scores JNU-CEEB and JEE main .
