Dear Candidate
See as per your Marks-172 it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat for Homeopathy even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side
At this stage, I will suggest you must use this link to get a fair idea about the colleges both Private and Government you can get as per the score you have received and then plan accordingly.https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor
Hey
NEET cut-off marks will be based on different factors such as the number of candidates appeared in the entrance exam, availability of seats & the difficulty level of examination. On the basis of cut-off marks, the merit list will be drawn and counseling will be done. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% in the case of general category, 45% marks in case of GEN PH, 40% marks in case of reserved category.
To get a seat you need to have atleast a score of 300 or above.
Hope this helped!
For the Ayurvedic and homeopathy courses, there is no need of such criteria. The minimum marks criteria exists but not like MBBS and Dental courses. If you want a good college for the above mentioned courses then you must have scored around 450 and above marks then only you will be getting the good colleges otherwise there are many colleges to get into but your good marks will help you to get the better institute. Go through the link below to get the list of the best ayurvedic colleges in India and their fees.

Dear candidate, it's been just a year that NEET included Ayurveda and homeopathic so it's quite different to predict it this time because last year handful of people knee about it but now many candidates know about this so they might opt for this option. So I would suggest you that the best expected marks required to get into bhms and bams must be around 400 . If you have more than this then stay free you wiy probably get into one of these course through NEET. I hope this was helpful.
Hello Veeraswamy !!
The minimum marks also referred as cut off ,changes every year depending on the number of candidates, numbers of seats etc.
To be in the safe zone of getting a seat in a government college for a ST candidate the score must be 250+ . A score less than this will find it difficulty to make in BAMS or BHMS .
Though private colleges are there for which NEET marks is not required .
All the best .
Hope this helps .
Hello
(this is just based on previous year statistics and it might change this year as the paper was reported to be relatively easier)
BDS - 450+ for Govt Colleges and 400+ for Private Colleges
BAMS - 440+ for Government colleges 400+ for Semi Government and 350+ for Private
BHMS - 300+ should suffice because there are only private colleges.
However usually the cutoff goes something like this for bams and bhms
1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000
2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.
3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC
You can check out the cutoff for BPT however i dont think its cutoff would be any lower than 250 if you go through neet. All the best.
Hello Harika,
BHMS counselling is through state counselling authority on the basis of NEET UG score. The cutoff varies state to state, If you share with us your score then I can help you with your admission possibilities.
Good Luck!
Hello Mahendra,
To get admission in BHMS and BAMS courses also candidates must clear NEET. To qualify NEET, each candidate is required to score the minimum qualifying percentile set for each category. The cutoff percentile for General Category is 50 Percentile, for reserved category ie., SC/ST/OBC (including PwD candidates in reserved category) has been set as 40 percentile and for unreserved physically handicapped candidates, the cutoff percentile is 45.
I hope my answer have helped you and hope you do well in future.
