Hello,
It's crucial to enrol in a reputable institution if you want to pursue a successful career in agriculture in order to get the most benefits in the form of top-notch teachers and campus amenities. According to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research's (ICAR) 2018 rankings, the top 5 agricultural universities in India are listed below.
The few finest colleges in India are listed here.
The only private university approved by ICAR is LPU. Leading agricultural corporations offered excellent compensation to LPU students. The School of Agriculture places students in a variety of organisations, including HDFC Bank, Reliance Retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, and many others.
Thank You
Hello Student
College in which you are interested to take admission in MSc agriculture specialisation in soil science, horticulture , agronomy. Until you mention the name of the college it is very difficult to predict anything about your admission criteria. In all India i.e. national level entrance test is taken that is ICAR AI EEE. This exam is conducted by National testing agency in all India level for UG and PG of agriculture courses admission in government colleges or universities.
Hope this helps.
Hello
I hope you are doing great.
Yes of course it is useful. you will get knowledge of 2 subjects in combination so it will be beneficial for you. as per your career point of view you will get more knowledge and a job easily.
If you want to join MSc Horticulture in College of Horticulture, Kolar then its eligibility criteria is passed BSc Agriculture or Horticulture or Hons in the same discipline securing 60% aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC/ UPS, and there is relaxation of 10% for reserved categories of SC/ST/PwD, admission is done through entrance test and you're required to appear for the entrance test named ICAR AIEEA PG regarding this.
As cut-offs changes from year to year it is difficult to predict and also, they depends on many factors like
* Number of students appeared in AP EAMCET exam
* Caste Category of the students
* Number of seats available
* Difficulty level of AP EAMCET exam
For your AP EAMCET Rank it is difficult to get B.Sc Agriculture seat in Government Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, so you can try for seat in Private Colleges or can try for Management quota seats in good Colleges.

Hi Kavitha,
Your profile suggests that you belong to Andhra Pradesh domicile. For your EAPCET it is difficult to get Horticulture or Agriculture course in good Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh based on previous year's cut-off trends. But cut-offs varies from year to year and course to course. They may increase or decrease or remain same. So you can also try for Management quota seats in good Colleges.
