Hello Ranjithkumar,
This could vary on a number of factors. The salary that you may get mostly depends upon the job that you take up you could plan on to work in the hotels, QSRs, airlines, retail or some event management company and for that matter, as a facility manager/ planner even, all of it determines whatever that is that you’re gonna be earning, not to forget the kind of offer that you take up or for the position that the company hires you for. To be talking in a very general sense, you either get selected as a Management Trainee or an Operational Trainee, both of which in each sector have a variance in the pay. Now, in some companies, as a management trainee they might pay you a lower stipend than what they’d pay you as an operational trainee, but what you’ve gotta understand is that the OT doesn’t has a guarantee of a pay raise, but as a MT, you will and that too for as much as it getting doubled in a span of mere 18 months.
There are three types of appointment in hotel i.e.
1 Entry level
2 Supervisor level
3 Management level
Salary for entry level may be 10000 to 13000
Supervisory level may be 15000 to 18000 . This requires professional training given by the hotel for 6 months to 15 months and during this period stipend is given.
Management level requires training for MT for a period of 3 yes and stipend is given during training of rs. 13000 to 18000 and on completion of training salary may be 20000 to 25000.
