Hotel Management
Hello aspirant,
No, Agar aap ne jee main me general EWS category se apply nahi kiya to aap jee advance ke liye category change nahi kar sakte. Jee advance me wahi information forward hoti hai jo jee main exam application form fill karte samay aap dete ho.
Hope you find it helpful.
You cannot change your category during counselling, only the category chosen by you while filling the application form is considered for counselling. So if you have filled general as your category at the time of filling the application form, you will have to attend counselling as a General category student only. So you can not change category at time of jee advance during application form.
Hi, There is no difference between Hotel Management and Hospitality Management. The only thing is now a days universities give different names to the courses. For Eg. Bsc in Hospitality Studies, BA in Hospitality studies and Tourism Management, BA in culinary arts.
When you go for Hotel management you need to study the major sectors of Hospitality or Hotel Industry. The four Major pillars are : Front Office, Housekeeping, Food Production, Food and Beverage services. When you collectively study all these major department we called it as Hospitality Management or Hotel Management.
Now Universities form their courses as per the demand. Like many aspirants wants to make career particulary in chef so some colleges offer specific course in Food and Beverage service that they refer as culinary arts but opting for these options one can make career only in kitchen department of Hotel Industry as they are masters of cooking.
On the other side if you are looking to exapand the career sectors for yourself then it's suggested that you should make career in Hospitality courses where you get to learn every aspects of Hotel Industry.

Dear,
Minimum qualification necessary for a hotel management course is 10+2. Depending on the cost and duration of the course, one can opt for a certificate ,diploma or degree course. Certificate courses can be of six months to one year duration, a diploma of two years and a degree course of three year duration. Getting a job in 5 star hotel is not tough if you are a hotel management graduate.First decide which brand you prefer to work with. Which is the most convenient city for you to work. What is the the department and designation you want for your job.Once this is is decided, then just call up hotels and ask if there is any vacancy in your preferred department. Send an email with your CV and Cover Letter. If the hotel is interested, they will call you for an interview. That’s all!
After all getting a job is not hard, but the life of hotel employees is very tough. All the best for your job search.
Hope this helps!

Hello
Yes of course cruise line is a good option as career after hotel management. But would like to suggest you that get a chance of getting a job experience on land rather going directly for cruise line
Take experience on land property for 2-3years then go for cruise line. As if you directly go for cruise line then you won't get a good chance for land property.
