Hey,

For management principles you many take in consideration T. N. Chabbra as it is been followed in the university of Delhi and is considered apparently good for your semesters exams.
For Income tax go for Dr. Vinod K. Singhania it would quit better for you. The language is comparatively easier and have good number of examples for practice.

How can I score 8+ cgpa in my du 2nd year b.com hons. In subject like income tax, e-commerce,HRM,and management principal please give tips

Ananya 21st Aug, 2019
Hey there!

Scoring 8+ CGPA in your second year won't be that difficult if you start studying everything that's taught in your classes from the beginning so make sure you attend them.
If you cannot be regular you can join coaching classes for the above mentioned subjects, these centers have course structure as per University of Delhi syllabus specifically designed to help students cope with academic difficulties.
Make sure you have a good impression on teachers as they have a portion of your marks in their hands through internal examination.

Hope this helps,
Best of luck!

Is human resource management from du good ??

NAVEEN MEENA Student Expert 11th Aug, 2019

Dear Satakshi, the answer to your question can be divided into 4 parts -

Placements : The placement cell of CVS is called as Aspire, and they keep posting about various job positions on their facebook page. Students need to get registered by themselves to sit in any placements. Around 75% of students got placed. Companies like ITC, Indigo, FIS, Vistara, etc., came to our college. The highest package was 10 lpa, offered by ITC and the minimum package offered was 1.5 lpa, offered by Genpact. Students were offered different kinds of roles like HR, marketing, accountant, hotel managers, etc.

Infrastructure : The campus is amazing when compared with all the 67 colleges that are affiliated to Delhi University, and the campus is peaceful. All the basic things that a student needs are available at the college. The infrastructure of the college is good. But all the people find it difficult to differentiate between Bhagat Singh College and CVS as there is no common wall between the colleges.

Faculty : The faculty members are not very cooperative at the time of admission. They don't take too much pressure to teach the subjects, but they manage it well. The college provides 18 courses such as professional, special (vocational), honours and language courses. Visit the college website for any other information.

Other : The campus crowd is really good. There is a 0% chance of ragging, and the students union is really helpful. Fests are really great at this college, and the fest lasts for 3 days. Some well-known artists are called for the fests. Now coming to scholarships, poor students who belong to SC, ST get 90% of the scholarship. The campus is surrounded by lush green gardens and various food joints.

All the best

Hope this helps

I have completed my MBA HR and i want to take up MS in international human resource management . Is it a good idea?

Rutu Waghela 29th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant,

  • An MBA degree offers general business skills that can get you ahead in any area, while the MS-HRM is more appropriate for someone with a foundational business background who wants to focus more deeply on human resource management. The degree you choose depends on your career goals.
  • The difference is very fundamental. An MBA gives one a thorough grounding in all aspects of the business profession. You will concentrate in a particular area, but will still be required to take a certain number of core courses in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, MIS, and management. Electives will be used for your concentration.
  • In the MS in HRM degree you will spend all your time on the principles of HR, from org design, to training, to everything else the HR profession covers. Are you a business major? If not, you will be required to take leveling courses to get you up to speed.
  • If your undergraduate degree is in management or HR, the MBA would do you a world of good. If you are getting a degree in something else it may be best for you to pursue the HRM degree and after working for a while go back for the MBA.

Hope this helps!!
