If I am in 6th sem of my graduation and I get offer letter from IAF to join for basic airman training. will I be getting leaves to give my sem 6 college exams to complete my degree? If not, what is advisable? to join IAF as an airman and leave the degree or miss the airman opportunity & get degree?

Sohamsengupta8 18th Jul, 2021

Hello Student

After joining IAF training.you can apply for study leave to appear for the third and final examination for your graduation. On the  other  hand it will be better for you to complete your graduation and then join IAF or Army or Navy whatever you can avail of the opportunity or whatever  will be your interest for. This is because the reviews information says that after servicing of 8 to 10 years you will get the promotion in IAF. The salary will be hiked at that point but the career prospect will be not so bright.  But if you complete your graduation and join in MBA course with CAT GMAT Xat exams your career will be  better than IAF services.

Hope this helps.

Atif Ali 18th Apr, 2021

Hello,

First of All, Syllabus for Indian Air Force Group Y exam is vast and deep. But still I would say you don't need to join any coaching for this. There are number of educational videos (related to topics like English language, Reasoning and Current Affairs), on YouTube which is available for free and they have explained ever topic in Very easy way.

If you study while being focused and with full dedication then you don't need to join any coaching. Moreover, YouTube creators aslo launches series for Group Y exams, so you will get complete knowledge from there. You can their luve classes as well, so why need coaching? You will only waste your energy and time if you will join any coaching in future.

Remember, you will get only 45 minutes for this exam, so don't only focus to cover every portion, try to solve Questions as fast as possible, your speed matters a lot in this examination.
