Hello Palak,
I would like to say that, in any institute you may study, because every institutes have their own way of teaching, this is my view about institutes but if you want to know that which is better, then you should ask the individuals who is or who was studying in that institute. You should focus on yourself and your study.
Thanks for query on this platform, you may visit again for further queries.
All the best.
Hey Saurabh,
The waitlist movement depends on the number of students switching from IBS Hyderabad to any other college or leaving the seat for any reason.
As per the previous trends, There is a good chance that you might be able to convert IBS Hyderabad but it also depends on your waitlist number and the attrition of the waitlisted candidates before you.
Let's be positive and hope that you can convert your call!
All the best!
Hello Shamika,
Fees are one of the comparative parameters that you have while comparing IBS Hyderabad and IBS Mumbai, in IBS Mumbai there is half the fees, same the ROI, also corporate exposure is more in IBS Mumbai and the placements are more or less the same, just the CTC’s vary depending upon various companies.
IBS Hyderabad is a deemed university so you get an MBA degree and not a PGPM certificate whereas at IBS Mumbai you will have to sacrifice the MBA degree for a PGPM.
That's all the difference that there is. If you are someone from outside Mumbai then I suggest you go for IBS Hyderabad. Infrastructure and facilities wise also it is the best out of the two.
Hope this helps.
Hello Arshit,
IMI K provides 100% placements, IBS Hyderabad lags by almost 5–10 %. Coming to the number of students, 2018–20 batch of IMI K consists of 167 students while of IBS Hyderabad consists almost 1200 students which is a huge difference! The competition between students for any particular company rises by 10 times in IBS Hyderabad than IMI K at the time of placements. The next point is when a company looks for the college in a particular area, In Hyderabad apart from IBS, there are various other colleges such as Symbiosis Hyderabad, NMIMS Hyderabad etc and many more. While in Kolkata there is no other Tier 3 college in that part of the country which is a huge advantage for IMI Kolkata.
So from these insights, I hope the picture is clear to you, that IMI Kolkata is better.
Hey,
IBS hyderabad is definately better than IBS bangalore. There are more courses available in IBS Hyderabad than in IBS bangalore. You have more options. The average package of ibs bangalore is 5.6 lakhs p.a. And that of ibs Hyderabad is 6.9 lakhs p.a. The fee of ibs Hyderabad is 14 lakhs. The infrastructure and faculty is also good. You should surely go for ibs Hyderabad.
Hi Bharat, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available, number of test takers, difficulty level of exams etc. Howver going by the past records, the cutoff for CAT/XAT is around 60 percentile, for GMAT it is around 500 and above and for NMAT scores it is around 150 score. So on the score obtained, you have chances to get call from Hyderabad campus mostly.
