ruchika.chauhan Expert 7th Mar, 2019

Hello Shreya

Fee per annum (in lakhs) of IBS Hyderabad for MBA program is 7.02 and according to the final placement record of 2018, highest CTC offered was 13 lakhs and average CTC was 10.88 (for top 10%) and 9.85 (top 25%)

Check the placement and fee using the links below-

Fee- https://www.ibsindia.org/fee-details/

Fee for Indian students in MIT- WPU Pune is 3.50 lakhs fees per annum and as per the last year placement record, the highest package for National Level placement was Rs. 9 Lacs and for International Placement was Rs. 26 Lacs. The average package offered was Rs. 5 Lacs.

Refer to the link below-

Fee- https://mitwpu.edu.in/mba-admission-procedure/

Both the colleges are good. However, IBS Hyderabad has an edge over MIT in terms of facilities such as brand value, faculty.

Good Luck!

Saurabh Kumar 6th Mar, 2019

Hello Palak,

I would like to say that, in any institute you may study, because every institutes have their own way of teaching, this is my view about institutes but if you want to know that which is better, then you should ask the individuals who is or who was studying in that institute.
You should focus on yourself and your study.

Thanks for query on this platform, you may visit again for further queries.

I have got IBS Bangalore with waitlist for IBS Hyderbad , with percentile 89.599 . Will I be able to convert IBS Hyderabad with this ?

Mrudul Vasant Naik 5th Mar, 2019

Hey Saurabh,

The waitlist movement depends on the number of students switching from IBS Hyderabad to any other college or leaving the seat for any reason.

As per the previous trends, There is a good chance that you might be able to convert IBS Hyderabad but it also depends on your waitlist number and the attrition of the waitlisted candidates before you.

Let's be positive and hope that you can convert your call!

All the best!

I got admission for IBS Hyderabad? but how it is different from IBS mumbai ? Is it better then IBS mumbai or not ?

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 5th Mar, 2019

Hello Shamika,

Fees are one of the comparative parameters that you have while comparing IBS Hyderabad and IBS Mumbai, in IBS Mumbai there is half the fees, same the ROI, also corporate exposure is more in IBS Mumbai and the placements are more or less the same, just the CTC’s vary depending upon various companies.

IBS Hyderabad is a deemed university so you get an MBA degree and not a PGPM certificate whereas at IBS Mumbai you will have to sacrifice the MBA degree for a PGPM.

That's all the difference that there is. If you are someone from outside Mumbai then I suggest you go for IBS Hyderabad. Infrastructure and facilities wise also it is the best out of the two.

Hope this helps.

Is ibs hyderabad better for marketing or imi kolkata pgdm course

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 4th Mar, 2019

Hello Arshit,

IMI K provides 100% placements, IBS Hyderabad lags by almost 5–10 %. Coming to the number of students, 2018–20 batch of IMI K consists of 167 students while of IBS Hyderabad consists almost 1200 students which is a huge difference! The competition between students for any particular company rises by 10 times in IBS Hyderabad than IMI K at the time of placements. The next point is when a company looks for the college in a particular area, In Hyderabad apart from IBS, there are various other colleges such as Symbiosis Hyderabad, NMIMS Hyderabad etc and many more. While in Kolkata there is no other Tier 3 college in that part of the country which is a huge advantage for IMI Kolkata.

So from these insights, I hope the picture is clear to you, that IMI Kolkata is better.

Hope this helps.

The average package of ibs bangalore is 5.6 lakhs p.a. And that of ibs Hyderabad is 6.9 lakhs p.a. The fee of ibs Hyderabad is 14 lakhs. The infrastructure and faculty is also good. You should surely go for ibs Hyderabad.

Hello i hed been through ibs selection process i scored 74.79percentile but i want to join in Hyderabad campus do i have any possibility?

Shravan Hari 2nd Mar, 2019

Hi Bharat, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available, number of test takers, difficulty level of exams etc. Howver going by the past records, the cutoff for CAT/XAT is around 60 percentile, for GMAT it is around 500 and above and for NMAT scores it is around 150 score. So on the score obtained, you have chances to get call from Hyderabad campus mostly.
