To get admission to Master in Business Administration you must have passed Bachelors Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. The medium of instruction must be English. Candidate must have work experience in managerial or supervisory positions for at least 2 years.
Candidates applying for MBA course must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education in 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern. Candidates whose medium of instruction is not English medium in graduation must submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score before the cut off date. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and work experience. Candidates who are shortlisted will have to give Micro presentation and attend personal Interview.

ICFAI buisness school will declare the cut off for 2021. In order to get qualified for the interview process candidates need to score a minimum marks to get in the various campuses of IBS. It has declared the result on December 30.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The final list will be analysed and you would be called for the interview process.

IMT Nagpur and IBS Buisness school, Hyderabad both offers different courses. IMT Nagpur offers PGDM, FPM whereas IBS Buisness school offers BBA, MBA, executive MBA, Ph.D Economic , Ph.D. Management, BA economics, PGP economic . The campus size of IMT Nagpur is 25 Acres,  While that of IBS is 91 Acres. Also, the number of faculty are more at IBS than at IMT Nagpur. IBS has more experienced faculty. The IMT Nagpur and IBS both offers various facilities like girls and boys hostels, Gym, Library, etc. But IBS does not offer transport facilities whereas IMT Nagpur does. Also , Hyderabad is more good from placement percetive compare to nagpur.

So , on the above basis , IBS Buisness school is more better than IMT Nagpur.

College Infrastructure:

Never been to college due to covid and still doing online classes. But according to what I've heard the campus is situated outside the city and is huge enough to accommodate 1500 boys and girls. They have both boys and girls hostel.

Academics

The curriculum is entirely based on case study. If anyone is playing to join the college would suggest them to brush up on their basic knowledge and skills and to come mentally prepared to work hard or else survival would be difficult

Placements

I'm not really aware of the placements at the moment but what I do know is that the placements are satisfactory. But talking about the Return of interest would be that good. The placements will be done upcoming year.

Value-for-money

For MBA, the ROI is not good.

Campus Life

A lot of clubs and all the clubs are extremely active and engaging

Anything Else

The college is satisfactory but wouldn't suggest it to anyone

Comparing two colleges is quite difficult but  BIMTech Gr. Noida is better than IBS Hyderabad. BIMTECH stands for Birla institute of management and technology has better placements and the CAT percentile is also higher as compared to IBS hyderbad.

Generally, BIMTECH percentile lies in the range of 70%ile to 85%ile whereas IBS Hyderabad has low percentile range of approximately 50-55%ile in CAT. average Ctc offered in BIMTECH is around 7.5 LPA whereas in IBS hyderabad it is of only 5 LPA.

So, in general you need to understand what is more convenient for you and also has better opportunities for you in the future.

If you were to take my opinion then I would be judging on the basis of infrastructure , faculty and placements. So, i would be taking the mba stream in both the colleges.

In terms of return on investment I would be preferring IBS Hyderabad because on expenditure of around 8-10L you would easily get a package of 10L being aba graduate.

In case faculty also , I would prefer IBS Hyderabad because the staff and professors are supportive and help the students in every possible way.

In case of infrastructure both the colleges are on same page. The hostel and mess being private colleges is great.

Dear Aspirant, reviews for ICFAI Business School (IBS) for MBA is not good. IBS students reviewed that the college has poor hostel facility, uneducated security, crappiest college, money sucking college and also the faculty members are not so friendly. I am sorry, but 195 is not very good. Few if any top-tier business schools would even consider applicants with GMAT scores below a 200. It is apparent that NMIMS Mumbai is the top institution accepting NMAT scores.

The following universities are listed in ascending order of quality:

Mumbai Institute of Management and Industrial Studies (212 and above)
Bangalore National Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) (199 above)
The NMIMS in Hyderabad
Mumbai Institute of Management (185+)
Only the first and second places are worth paying attention to. All other institutions are not worth the money you would be saving by not attending. If you are interested, schools like MISB Bocconi and IBS Hyderabad are good options to look into.

Even if you reapply for the test, you will have to submit a new application and complete new paperwork (for the exam as well as the colleges). While NMIMS Mumbai is one of India's top B-schools, the test is expensive.
