Although, the college offers 38 courses in 4 streams and 13 specializations. Courses other than the above mentioned ones are Executive MBA/PGDM, Ph.D. in streams of business and management studies, IT and software, banking, finance and insurance, accounting and commerce.

Is IBS Hyderabad good for MBA in IT? Hows the placement record for MBA in IT at IBS Hyderabad? Please give an honest review? Is that college worth joining? And hows the safety in the campus for woman?
The campus is really good and safe though it is very far away from the city. But you won't have any problems as such.
Which college is better for MBA in Hr? itm navi mumbai or ibs hyd?
Hello Aspirant...
According to my research ITM Navi Mumbai is better than the IBS Hyderabad. Basing on the fee structure IBS costs around 15-16 lakhs where as ITM costs around 11 lakhs. I think it's a very big difference. Not only on the the cost factor coming to the placements ITM Mumbai gives you a 100% placement assurance in good companies than IBS Hyderabad.so you must carefully choose your next step to make a bright future.
All the Best...
What is the ROI for IBS Hyderabad and is it worth preparing for IBSAT or I shld concentrate on other mba entrance exams?
Hi...
IBS Hyderabad has an unique and innovative approach to business education, that focuses on providing the right knowledge, imparting the right skills for enduring success in management careers, and shaping the right attitudes.
ROI depends on your graduation background and your ability to learn and explore during your MBA study.
I think its a very expensive college and does not gives a student the justice for the fees what they pay. They will charge you around 16–18 lakhs and will provide you with the average package of 6–7 lakhs. But here comes the catch if you have no other options left then this might be the best option for you because the quality of MBA they provide is good. The intake in IBS Hyderabad is 1200 students and there is no 100 percent guarantee of the placements.
The more you learn and connect the theory to corporate situations, it will be beneficial for you to explain your learning & understanding while your GDPI rounds during placements. Do some homework and list down the institutes and their placement data.
You can concentrate on other exams like CAT which gives you a lot many options of choosing colleges like IIMs , IIFT for MBA in foreign trade and other exams like MAT and XAT can also be written rather than IBSAT , which is considered for only ICFAI colleges.
Best luck...

Hy swati
ITM Navi Mumbai is better colleges than IBS Hyderabad for HR in terms of ROI
PGDM from ITM navi mumbai will cost you around 12 lakhs and whereas in IBS it is for around 16-17 lakhs.
Placements are good in ITM is constantly ranked among the tip 25 B-Schools in India.
Also ITM has a traditional based teaching which is better than case based teaching in IBS hyderabad
If you want in HR then ITM should be undoubtedly your choice rather than IBS.

I have an NMAT score of 174 (2019), will this be enough to clear cut off for MBA Full time program in IBS Hyderabad?
Hi Kevin
The cut off for IBS Hyderabad depends on the difficulty level of the paper as well as other factors like how other students have performed. IBS does not officially release the NMAT cutoffs.
Although a score of 150+ would be decent enough to clear the cutoffs this year. All the best for the results.

what was the lowest package for mba for last year
Hi Himanshu,
In India and also in many of the countries around the world, a Master of Business Administration is one of the most sought after and prestigious degrees in the management field to stimulate a better post-graduation career. Particularly in India, MBA is synchronous to great pay and fast career growth opportunity. These are the two primary reasons candidate aim for to pursue a management degree.
With every year passing by, the top and average salary offered by different companies that come for placements in the institutes have been steadily and substantially increasing. Also, Placement reports of the institutes don’t leave any opportunity behind in boasting these statistics as these are one of their most important selling points. The package and the prestigious brands serve as diamonds in their placement reports. However, many of the placement reports released by the institutes do not give an overall perspective of salaries offered. These institutes do not show or purposefully hide their lowest packages offered or percentage of students who come under this lower package bracket. In an effort to bring transparency and make these reports reliable, IIM Ahmedabad started ‘Indian Placement Reporting Standards’ (IPRS) and proposed a standardised way of reporting salary and non-salary information. The data submitted will then undergo a third-party audit process with institutes such as CRISIL thus making the placement reports reliable. The purpose of this is to provide a holistic and trustworthy data for aspirants to make right choices. As of now, only 30 MBA colleges have signed up for it and are abiding by it. However only nine of these colleges have furnished their detailed placement reports.
Different colleges publish their placement reports on different dates. For example, if we take IIMs, the top IIMs: IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta concluded their placements in February itself but published their placement statistics in the month of September 2019 because they needed to be audited by IPRS.
The table below provides a snapshot of packages offered by companies in different colleges in 2019, here, the colleges which offer minimum package of 10-12 lakhs is only considered.

Who receives low packages?Students who are repeating or those who have not been able to perform well in academics are the ones who receive low packages. This might be a debatable topic and different people have their opinion on this. According to my experience, recruiters don’t pay any heed and have no reason to hire you if you haven’t performed well in your academics and extra-curriculars. B-Schools find hard to place such students and at times these students might have to be asked to fill an opt-out form or go for a rolling placement.
All the very best!!
