Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So with regard to your query, No it is not necessary to give the ICAR exam for the purpose of BSc in Fisheries. There colleges in India which provide direct admission, and also some college which conducted entrance exam fur the purpose of getting admission into the universities. This depends upon each university. Further, the syllabus for these entrance exams will be the syllabus from 10+2 from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Hi there
In response to your query, the answer would heavily depend on the admission criteria of the university. Each year for each examination the academic board decides a certain criteria and percentage for eligible candidates. They also mention in their brochure the compulsory subjects to be added while formulating the desired percentage. Therefore the candidate should cautiously see the provided information and act accordingly as per each brochure of respective examination.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
