Hello, hope you are doing well!
Definitely its a very good idea to pursue MBBS from abroad but you can get the same quality of education here in your home country too. I would like to answer your question step by step considering all the facts that you should mandatorily keep in mind when you decide to pursue MBBS out of India. These are the following points:-
1. The minimum eligibility requirement reads as follow for studying MBBS in abroad-
2. The duration of the course varies from country to country. Mostly students go for a 5-year course. However, the duration is of 5.8 years in some of the best countries to pursue MBBS abroad like Russia and Ukraine, and 4-6 years in Philippines.
3. Another big decision is cost or fees for the total course. In USA, Australia, Canada, UK, New Zeland, EU countries are more expensive compared to doing MBBS in countries like Philippines, Ukraine, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China. If you wish to study in colleges that are in USA, Australia, Canada, New Zeland or the UK, your budget should be in excess of 1 crore. Also, there are entrance exams you need to crack.
4. Make sure you do your MBBS from an university that has the approval by Medical Council of India(MCI) so that you can work in India after pursuing the course.
5. MBBS in Abroad is a great career choice as it gives many options to students graduating from these Universities. After MBBS from abroad, a student will have the following options:
Its a little detailed answer but I hope it helped you with all the information that you needed to know. All the best!
