Is starting CA at age 20 late should i drop idea of it i am also below average student who has done nothing in life just wasted years if yes than is preparing for Sbi Po will be better for me despite being zero and weak in English ? Is i am late to do something worth ? Is Sbi difficult than CA ?

Pritam Singh 29th Jun, 2020

Hey there

SBI PO exam and CA are two different things. Entry in CA exams are easy but the whole course is one of the toughest course in the country. On the other hand SBI PO Is an exam having way more competition, syllabus is like CAT (though there is a big difference) with general knowledge questions which makes it a tough nut to crack. If you think you have interest in accounting and all the subjects of CA then go for it otherwise CA is not good for you. SBI PO if you think you have good quantitative, qualitative, English or if you think you can improve it then go for it.

I wanted to share a quote

QUITTERS NEVER WIN & WINNERS NEVER QUIT.

Consider this quote and see where you stand . I know teenage mind  gets depressed very soon but never ever lose hope in life. You are just 20 yrs old ....

There a life ahead waiting for you . Forget the bad memories and start a new life . Think positively and see the changes in you .

Start preparing for bank exams and think of it as your sole interest. See you will definitely succeed .

All the best for your future endevours!!!!!!!!!

I am bio-maths student. my rank in vit is 2469 .I have no idea about the computer science and engineering and the specialization courses in CS .Please tell which is the best and the interesting course to learn and has best scope in the future.

Raja 6th Aug, 2020

Interesting, is what you can only determine yourself. What I can tell you about is scope. These days many private institutions provide specialization in bachelors courses, but believe me, beyond fancy names, they are nothing else. At a bachelors level, there is nothing much to specialize. You have got to skim past all the basics. Specializations are for postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
Yet if you want to go for these so called 'specialization' programmes, go for IoT or Data Science. They are the two big things everyone seems to be talking about.
Yet if bioinformatics appeals you the most, go for that. You will be better off in a field that you like than one that you have been pushed to.

rehan18alam Student Expert 27th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

The first thing you should consider is all your options, as you have mentioned you are thinking about engineering, I assume that you are a PCM Student.

Here are the courses you can do:-

  • BE/ BTech

  • BSc computer science

  • Bsc IT

  • B Arch

  • B Planning .

  • Integrated MSc

  • BCA

  • Defence ( Navy, Army, Air force)

  • BSc. Degree

  • BDes

Now for choosing the right college, you should consider three factors:-

  • Your interest
  • Average salaries in that field
  • Placement of the college you are selecting

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Mayank Chowdhary 25th Jun, 2020

Hey that's okay. Don't think that you should've achieved xyz things at this age. It's purely ok. Don't get depressed. It's better to begin even if late rather than doing something never. So stay positive get motivated, smile and start a fresh beginning. The time you start of doing something is the perfect time to reach youur goal and forget about what happened. Yes it's good if you start preparing for the SBI exam soon. The harder you work for something, the more easier it will get. Don't let your mind kill your confidence. So stay motivated and start preparing for the examination.

I am stucked i am 21&have no idea of future®ret of wasting years due laziness now feels its over all i am way behind all in knowledge, skills & other aspects. 1.Is 21 late to start with scratch poor in all for Sbi PO preparation? 2.I went for it last year came back,is it late as per my situation?

S. Saha Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020
One thing must be cleared that you arenot late at all. The minimum age to appear for SBI PO exam is 21 years old. And you are only 20 years. So youhave time. And the most important thing is that you wany don't want to lose. Don't feel like that you are lost, your friends are going over you. Don't go for competition. There are students who qualify SBI PO in first time. But there are more students who can't qualify in the very first attempt. But they don't lose hope. They stuck to it until they reach their goal. So when you have time, you must prepare for the examination rather than thinking all these. If this is fear of failure, it can be cured only by not thinking about these. Just engage yourself in the preparation, you'll automatically forget this things.

First of all go through the entire syllabus of SBI PO. There are many study materials available on internet. You can take help of video tutorials available free in YouTube. Read newspaper daily thoroughly for General Knowledge and current affairs. If you find it difficult to study from different books, then make your own notes. This is a good habit, your memory retention will also improve.

Once done with syllabus you can move on to solving mock test, previous year exam papers. Then try to figure out your weak areas and work on them.

Hello Professor,

As we are undergoing a kind of digital revolutionary period major part of our work is now completed through different online modes. So there might be some complications for some people as they are not aware of those material or technology whichever to be used.

If we will talk about you than you need only a white board, marker and small camera with tripod stand which can record your videos.

All you have to do is just teach on white board in your home as you use to teaches in college and just fix that camera on tripod stand in front of you so that your video will be recorded without any disturbance.

After recording that video you need to upload it on platform whichever has been allotted by your college for online studies.

I hope this information helps you.

If you have some further queries you can ask in comment section, we will be happy to assist you further.
