Dear Aspirant

The CLAT exam syllabus has changed this year and shift to more aptitude side then remembering things.

The no.of questions reduced from 200 to 120/125 but the time duration will be the same that is 2 hours.

Here are few tips for preparation you must follow to get a good score without coaching:-

English: Vocabulary questions will be asked. Word Power Made Easy
is the book you can use to improve your vocabulary.

High School Grammar and Composition ( by Wren and Martin)
It is a book  to improve the grammar skills.

GK: Question on current affairs will be asked. Read newspaper for CURRENT G.K. than trying to grasp all info at once. Some of the newspaper sources which you can use to prepare this section are The Hindu, Financial Express, and The Economist. You can also use some other apps like Inshorts etc for current affairs.

Mathematics: Only Data based questions will be asked. Like you have some information and questions on basis of that information.

Logical Reasoning: Data tables, Data Charts, Bar Diagrams, Pie Charts, Graphs, Data Comparison and Analysis. These are some of the topics on which you can expect questions.

how do i crack clat exam without coaching and what should i read please tell me how and where i study because i have no idea about this please help m

rehan18alam Student Expert 30th Mar, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You can prepare for CLAT without coaching. What coachings provide is consistency in preparation. If you can manage to be consistent on your own then t you are good to go. Prepare with a structure, prepare a timetable, see the syllabus and study accordingly. Do not study out of syllabus and do no leave important topics.

Prepare a timetable and divide slots for various parts of the syllabus. Moreover CLAT has gone under major changes this year. You must check out the links below.

Get enroll to a mock test series to keep a track of your preparation. This will be enough for you to crack CLAT.

Currently I am persuing BBA and want to do CA but I have no idea about it. I want to know about the exams dates, criteria, procedure and steps.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Mar, 2020

Somya, there are 2 ways to study to become a CA. One is after 12th and one is after Bachelor's. And there are 3 levels to become a CA:

CA Foundation

CA Intermediate

CA Final

You can join CA Foundation right after your 12th. There is no minimum aggregate and subjects that you should take to study CA. So you need to register with ICAI and complete a mandatory study period of 4 months and appear for CA Foundation exams. Once you clear your CA Foundation, you should register for CA Intermediate and complete the mandatory study period and article ship and join CA Finals. Now there are 2 ways to get into CA Intermediate. You can complete your CA Foundation and then join CA Intermediate or you can also have a Bachelor's degree with Commerce as a subject and then secure an aggregate of 50-60% and then study CA Intermediate directly through Direct Entry scheme. For more information, please visit the official website at: https://icaiexam.icai.org/index.php

The admissions to government and private medical colleges are based on NEET. Usually NEET is conducted in the month of May and the counselling process starts in June.

However due to current COVID pandemic, this year the admissions are delayed.
