Hey,
Indian Statistical Institute has one of the cut throat competition in the nation and thus the entrance exam is quite tricky. The official site of the ISI has a set of previous year papers and sample papers which will give you an idea as to how and which types of questions are asked in the exam.
You can visit this link below and select your course to get sample papers:

I hope this helps.
All the best!
Hello,
I hope your Board Exam Preparations are going well. Now coming to you question - I think NCERT books are sufficient enough for scoring high. Especially in maths & chemistry , most of the questions are directly asked from NCERT books.
However you can take reference from books like Xam Idea & Arihant for making your chances of scoring 90% even higher. You should practice at least 5 previous year papers & 5 solved as well as 5 unsolved sample papers. But first go through NCERT thoroughly & then only start with these reference books.
All the best.
Hope this was helpful
Dear aspirant,

As per the prospects of the course - there are a lot of scopes, you just need to be on the right path. Whether or not M.Sc in Wildlife Sciences is a good idea, depends entirely on you. If you are passionate about this field and are prepared to work hard, then it is the right choice for you.
You can get a job/ research project in organizations like WWF, CITES, IUCN etc. Or as a researcher you can work on wildlife management or ecology.
Aligarh Muslim University has a hostel for students. However, the availability of the same cannot be confirmed for sure. Most students find accomodation in the hostel easily, but only the concerned authorities can give any confirmation on the same.

You cannot give IAS exam in third year of BA-LLB, either you complete full five year program or you can give in final year,
UPSC Civil Service Exam consists of three level- Preliminary Mains Interview Preliminary numbers are not added in the final list, you just need to score the required cut offs against your category. It mainly consists of GS Paper-I and CSAT. Both consists of 200 marks, MCQs based. Mains is more of a subjective type, one needs to write answer for Four General Studies Paper,Two Optionals, One Essay, two language paper, there are total nine papers here. 250 marks for each paper, total is 1750 The biggest advantage you have right now is time and if you use it wisely, it'll help you succeed in the time to come. You can go through the gradual steps as mentioned below for preparation of UPSC during your graduation period: Be well acquainted with UPSC Syllabus, learn it by heart, that's the most crucial step to crack this exam, to know what to read and what to skip. In addition to this, never ever make a differentiation between prelims and mains, what I mean is do not prepare separately for each, because nowadays what's happening is even in prelims, UPSC frame questions based on Mains syllabus, So, the first towards preparation shall be a combined preparation for both. Read any newspaper like The Hindu, or Indian Express on a regular basis to be updated as well as gaining knowledge which shall be highly useful to you in future exam preparation part. Start with NCERT books, as you progress, move on to other relevant books, keep your resources minimum like Polity by Laxmikanth, History of Modern India by Bipin Chandra etc. Start practicing answer writing in advance, even in a little way, writing mains is a huge task for nine paper, it requires immense practice along with knowledge. Practice previous year question paper which you can get from the site of UPSC,in addition mock papers, and test series which you can get it from any of the sites extensively dedicated to UPSC, , it's highly important to evaluate your performance while doing so. Prelims is mcq based, but still it requires knowledge coupled with speed, and for mains, as I already mentioned the importance of answer writing.

Try reuploading your photograph.
That might have happened because a lot of times the photograph gets distorted after scanning due to some technical error.
If the problem still persists then upload a different photograph with all the requirements fulfilled, that will surely help.
