Hi Lot,
It is great to see that you are interested in becoming a commercial pilot and I am here to tell you the procedure of doing so.
First of all, you need to pass your 10+2 examination with mathematics and Physics as your main subjects. You need to be at least 152 cm tall to be a commercial pilot. After that, you have to get your Medical Class 2 examination done which will judge your medical condition and if you are fit enough to become a pilot. The Medical class 1 will be conducted by your flying school.
Then, you join a suitable flying school for your Commercial Flying Licence. This will be a course of around 3-4 years of duration and will require you to clear examinations on 6 subjects:
you will also have to do about at least 220 hours of flying using a virtual aeroplane simulator. When your institute is confident enough in you, you will receive your Commercial Pilot License and will be allowed to fly commercially. The total cost of this course is about 30-40 lakhs and commercial pilots make about 1.5 lakhs per month in the beginning and as they gain experience, they can earn upto 5-6 lakhs a month.
Hi Allen,
VIT does not disclose marks. Their admission procedure is solely based on ranks.
Observing recent trends, a CSE seat will require a rank below 5500. A ballpark figure on the marks would be 80+ marks out of 120.
The next most popular branch, IT, goes to the rank holders who are below rank 11000 and the rest go to EEE, mechanical etc.
Hello!
To answer your question, one can neither predict the difficulty level of the AIIMS examination and nor can one predict how the rest of the candidates will perform.
However, to have a rough idea of what is the needed cut off percentile to crack AIIMS, you can look at the following data:
Hence, you will have to prepare strategically for the examination. Practice a lot of previous year question papers so that you get the hang of the pattern of the examination.
Good Luck!
