IIT admission
The percentage of class 12 is only a qualifying clause. You only need a certain minimum percentage to qualify for IIT. No matter how much you score past the minimum score it is not an advantage or disadvantage for you. If your rank is good in advance then your 12th class percentage will not be a hindrance in the way of your admission.
Dear tarun,
No, you need not submit your class 11 th marksheet in the document verification of iit because you need to submit your 10th and 12th marksheet or pass certificate in the verification.
In addition to these school documents you also need to provide your transfer certificate , provisional allotment letter , aadhar card Xerox and admit card and score card also.
Dear aspirant hope you are doing well...
Yes, diploma holders are eligible to appear for IIT JEE, but they will be considered similar to 12th passed candidates.
In order to get admission in IIT after diploma, there is no provision for special entry and thus, students have to appear in the JEE Advanced examination which is the only way to get into IITs for undergraduate course in engineering
Hope it's helpful for you..
Thank you.
Hello Aspirant,
See the diploma you are pursing , if it has minimum of 5 subjects that are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, A language subject and one other subject, then you can definitely appear for JEE-Advance provided that you qualify JEE-Main as well. The reason being is, as per the information brochure of JEE-Advance released by IIT Bombay, the candidates having A Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration are eligible for JEE-Advance if they qualify JEE-Main and also for JEE-Main you would be eligible because aforesaid Diploma is considered as equivalent to that of 10+2 examination.
>>>>> To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
>>>>> For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

Greetings,
Earlier the minimum percentage for getting admission into an IIT was 75%. But this minimum requirement was waived of in the month of January in 2021 by the Ministry of human resource. This has been done keeping in line with the decision of IIT JEE( Advanced) exam.
Dear Aspirant
You don't need to worry even if you are having two languages as your subjects other than PCM. As long as you are having 75% aggregate in PCM, English and Bengali you won't face any problem.
The 5 subjects which are considered for calculating aggregate are:
Physics
Chemistry
Maths
Language
Any subject other than the above four

Hi.
Your rank will not change irrespective of how many students take admission. However, the candidates that take admission in IITs will be utilizing JEE Advance rank and they will not leave any vacancy in the JEE mains CRL. When students take admission, those JEE Mains rank are utilised but number of seats go down as well.
The seat allotment solely depends on the Ranks, Number of seats and other factors influencing it.
Good Luck
As an OCI planning to take admission in an NIT it would be advisable for you to go through the DASA scheme.
You can apply via JEE as well. But JEE doesn’t offer any reservation for the foreign nationals. You have to write JEE Mains along with the Indian students.
Whereas DASA scheme is for foreign nationals alone. So I recommend you to apply via DASA scheme to get admission in NITs.
For further information about the DASA scheme kindly visit this website:

Hi,
The eligibility criteria in IITs differs with respect to the course you choose. IITs offer a number of degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD etc.
Do mention which course you intend to pursue so that we can help you with necessary information.
If you're looking for B.Tech, admission is done based on marks obtained in JEE Advanced and the general admission criteria for Btech remains the same as most colleges i.e. Passed Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate from recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
