IIT
Hello,
Hope you are doing great.
Answering to your question, Firstly, congratulations on achieving such a commendable score.Regarding the trends for the general category last year, a percentile of 95 resulted in All India Ranks (AIRs) ranging from 45,000 to 55,000. However, within the general category, securing admission to IIITs or NITs may be challenging with this rank. It is advisable to monitor subsequent rounds in JOSAA counseling or participate in CSAB rounds to explore additional opportunities. This approach increases your chances of securing admission in other branches or institutions, so you may consider exploring these options to enhance your possibilities.
Hope this helps!!
Hello aspirant,
It will be difficult for you to gain admission to colleges through JoSAA Counselling if you are a general category candidate with an 85 percentile mark on JEE Main. However, if you fall into one of the reserved categories, such as the ST, you will be able to secure admission to many colleges, such as NIT Delhi, Birla Institute of Technology (Patna and Mesra), other IIITs, and GFTIs, based on your percentile and category.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.

Hello Student , According to your 90 percentile considering you as a general category candidate it would be tough to get admission into NITs with Computer Science branch . You do have chances to admission through JoSAA Counselling in Government Funded Technical Institutes like Central University Jammu , Mizoram University with CSE . We would suggest you to start your preparation for the April session so that you can score better and your best one percentile would be used to make the final rank . To get a detailed report about your admission chances use Careers360 JEE College predictor. The link is given below - JEE College Predictor

IIT Bombay is a very prestigious college of country and getting admission in it is one of the most toughest job. The cutoff of IIT Bombay is very high and with 61 percentile, you can not get this college even if you are from SC category. I suggest you to prepare hard and give your best next year.
If you belong to the general category, then it will be tough to get colleges in the JoSAA Counselling. You can apply to different state and university counsellings as well as give the second attempt to improve your score.
However, if you’re from the reserved category like ST, Then you would be eligible for admissions in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. You can apply in them for the JoSAA Counselling.
If you want direct admission without JEE Main scores, then many private universities take admissions directly without JEE scores, for example Chandigarh University takes direct admission without asking for the JEE Main score.
