IITs
Dear aspirant!
Hope you are doing well ! See, to get nits you have to give only jee mains , on the jee mains basis you get the colleges , for an obc and ews Candidate if you get top nits you need to get at least 98 percentile marks in jee mains ,if you just want to enter in nit without any issue of branch then you have to get 95 percentile at least . Then after getting rank under 2.5 L you get qualify for jee advanced . Jee advanced paper is tougher than jee . If you score 30 Percent of total marks in jee advanced you get the iits ,the dreams of many .
Hope it helps you!
Thanking you!
Hello Student
To get Any NIts ,IIITs for CSE branch through Jee mains students have to achieve a rank within 20,000 in jee mains. But the rank you have got in jee mains exam is 25,000. But the result you have achieved approx 98 percentile of marks in jee.mains exam. The rank you have achieved is not sufficient to take admission in NITs ,IIITs for CSE branch .Although the prediction for marks and rank is a little bit of difficulty. So this is not the final .But there is a chance for you to get ECE branch in NITs or IIITs in India. Click on the link below to predict your college

Hi,
During JEE counselling, if you are from general category , only then your CRL rank will be considered. Otherwise, if you are from any of the reserved categories , your category rank will be considered during counselling, and on the basis of this rank you will be assigned a college.
I hope that was helpful.
The P after your rank indicates that the seat you have been allotted is not an ordinary seat but is a Preparatory seat. preparatory seat means that you have been given the admission into IITs on a provisional basis, and in the following next year you'll be trained by some IIT to be suitable for the B.Tech courses offered by them, depending on the fact that how good you do in the preparatory batch.
You can also use our college predictor to see your chances in all the colleges: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
In NITs only 5% of seats are reserved for PWD candidates in each category, i.e., General, GEN EWS, OBC NCL, SC, and ST.
And for qualifying JEE Mains, if you are a ST PWD candidate you need to score a minimum of 12 - 17 marks (i.e. answer 4-5 questions correctly). If your score is in this range and likewise your rank then you have a good chance of getting into any of the NITs.
And as for IITs, 58 seats are reserved for ST-PWD candidates. Going by previous years data, a candidate belonging to this category has to score an average marks of 17.5, which means minimum marks required in each subject is 5.
Hope that was helpful.
