iam completed my course in cipet Mysore. ima complete DPT what next

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 29th Jul, 2021
Hello,

After diploma in physiotherapy, you can apply for jobs in following posts:

Consultant
Physiotherapist
Rehabilitation Specialist
Private Practitioner
Community Physiotherapist
Sports Physiotherapist
Assistant Physiotherapist
Therapy Manager
Sports Physio-Rehabilitator

You can work in fields like
  • Rehabilitation Centres
  • Private and Government Sectors
  • Orthopaedic Departments
  • Gyms and Fitness Centres
  • Sports Clubs

But the problem is that you cannot go for higher studies. For example, if one wants to do MPT then one should have done BPT because DPT candidate cannot apply for MPT. So, if you want to do higher studies then you will have to do BPT again and then only you can do MPT. But that is not the right option because it can take a lot of time of yours, but if you have time then you can do BPT.

I hope this helps.
