I am nc obc student but my percentage in graduation is 47 % and want to do an MBA please provide list of colleges giving addmission to me ?

Sudeshna Dutta 18th Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

The below mentioned colleges are the best for MBA and dont consider past academics:

  • JBIMS
  • IIM LUCKNOW
  • NITIE
  • FMS
  • MDI
  • XLRI

These are the best alternatives you may choose from. Simply concentrate on achieving a 99 percentile or above on the CAT and prepare well for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Extra-curricular activities, accomplishments, and job experience are all beneficial in building your profile, so take advantage of this opportunity to do so. So it doesn't matter whether your academic performance is poor; it is all up to you. If you are self-assured, intelligent, and diligent, you can convert at any moment to get into top business schools.

Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!

The B.Com degree I am choosing has mathematics only in one semester, will it be a problem when I apply for MBA, as many MBA colleges require maths in graduation?

shreyakhedkar05 15th Sep, 2021
Hello,

CAT is an aptitude exam. CAT is based on elementary-level mathematics and also has permutation and combination topics.
Even if you don't have mathematics in your 11-12th or graduation you still are eligible for the CAT.

I need to take admission in B.Ed but I have 45% marks scored in Graduation please help me regarding this??

Vanshika Nangia 15th Sep, 2021

Hello dear aspirant

Hope you’re doing well

To pursue Bachelors of education from university of Delhi or IP university, a minimum of 50% is required in graduation or post graduation.

So i suggest you to do B.ed from open like from IGNOU or MDU.

Some colleges also allow 45% students to appear for B.ed entrance so you can prepare well for the entrance

One more option is, you can first do your masters, score above 50% in it and then go for B.ed

i had 6 subjects in 12th class and i got rt in maths but i passed 12th . So can i change stream science to commerce in graduation. because i dont want to take science anymore.

mrinalini048 13th Sep, 2021

Hello Manish!

To answer your question, yes you are eligible to change your stream to commerce field even if you had passed your 12th boards with science stream. All commerce related courses are open to science students, however some courses do require maths as a prerequisite to be eligible to apply for admission. Mathematics will be required in courses like B.Com(Hons.) and related courses. Delhi University requires a student to have passed in maths in boards to be eligible for B.Com(Hons.). Although for B.Com(p) there is no such requirement in DU. IP University, for instance don't require maths as a prerequisite for B.Com(Hons.). The admission to these courses in various universities and colleges are held either through entrance exam or on merit basis. I recommend you to research a bit on these courses before getting admitted since Commerce field would get you acquainted with subjects like accountancy which will again require your solving abilities.

All the best!

I want to become a food and beverage manager but confused in taking to course in graduation... Courses in mind- BMS,BHM and what course should I select in mba

TANISHA 19th Sep, 2021

Hi. You should go for BHM in institutions like IIHM as you are interested in food and beverage management  so that you get better exposure and brand name as well. For MBA you can go for specializations like MBA in hotel management or MBA in Food and Agribusiness . A lot of reputed colleges including iihms offer such courses.
