Yes, you can become a doctor after completing your BSc biotechnology. Some of the subjects of Bsc biotechnology prerequisite with MBBS course. For MBBS you have to in NEET. Qualification for appearing in NEET exam means that National eligibility test for MBBS course you should have a basic qualification of 12th standard pass with physics, chemistry and biology. IAF provides opportunity for airmen with minimum 10+2 educational qualification and below the age of 27 years to become commissioned officer in Army through Army Cadet College Course. The eligibility candidate has to pass the written examination conducted by Army HQ. On passing the exam they were interviewed by SSB. The candidates who have passed high school (class 12) are eligible for the Indian Air Force. The candidates should pass the written exam and SSB interview. Once the training is completed, the candidates can join the Force. The exam for the NDA is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.
The AFCAT 2020 exam is conducted every year. Both men and women can attend this exam. The age group must be from 20 10 24 years, and the marital status should be single. The educational qualification is 60% both in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level.

For Indian Air Force jobs, one needs to sit in the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) exam. According to the AFCAT 2020 notification, the online application was released on December 01, 2019. There are 249 vacancies released by IAF for admission through AFCAT.

Yes an mbbs graduate from other institute other than AFMC can join Indian air force provided they clear the NEET pg entrance exam with the required cut off.
However Almost 60% pg seats are reserved for the afmc mbbs graduates so the cutoffs for the non reserved seats is pretty high than other colleges.
The following is the priorty list followed while allotment of seats:
1. Priority I - Currently serving officers of AFMS
2. Priority II - Foreign candidates who are sponsored by the Government of India. Such candidates will be accepted on the approval of Ministry of Defence/DGAFMS/Ministry of External Affairs
3. Priority III - Medical officers sponsored by Parliamentary Forces or other organisations of Government of India. For these candidates, it is mandatory that they furnish sponsorship certificates with subjects for sponsorship by the authority to be considered for counselling
4. Priority IV - This category is of officers who are ex-servicemen and have completed their contractual service Candidates in this category of priority can apply only if they have completed their contractual service on or after May 1, 2017 or before April 30, 2020. This does not apply for candidates who resigned/dismissed/removed from their services
5. Priority V - Civilian doctors who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are ready to serve AFMS for a duration of five years after having completed the course are eligible under this priority. Doctors under this category have to sign a bond of INR 29,00,000 to the Government of India for AFMS PG 2020 medical admission

What is the salary of an MBBS doctor in Indian Air Force?

The starting salary of a military doctor or a MBBS doctor in Indian Air Force is INR 57,800 per month. After 4 years of service you will be promoted to Major Rank with monthly salary of INR 71,500. After 7 years of service as Major, you are promoted as Lieutenant Colonel and then your pay becomes Rs.1,24,800 per month. The salary increases as the rank increases further also.
