To join the army, apply for NCC Special Entry Scheme through your directorate – ask your unit CO to forward your application to the directorate which will then forward it to the recruiting directorate. If you get shortlisted, follow the procedure of SSB interview. All the vacancies through this are to be filled by NCC cadets .

Anyone can join Indian army both after finishing school as well as after completing their graduation.
I am listing here the poossible ways to join Indian Army:-
* NDA known as National Defence Academy. It is a national level exam which is conducted by UPSC.
* CDS known as Combined Defense Service. It is also conducted by UPSC twice a year.
* Indian Army conducts the TES (Technical Entry Scheme 10+2) exam.
