If you are sure about going for space research, IIST is the obvious choice. You will get direct exposure to facilities like ISRO in your studies there. However, if you are not very clear about your field of specialisation, and want to go for research, I suggest you should pick IISc. It can provide a more multi-faceted experience to a student, and can help you narrow down to the field of your interest, in which you can later pursue higher education.

Dear Student , IISc Bangalore is a college of national importance and very reputed college is India . Also holding number 1 position in NIRF University ranking and number 2 in overall NIRF ranking . So the competition of getting into it is quite tough . But if you are determined towards your goal and do labour you can achieve it .
Now talking about admission , you can take admission into its BSc. programme through these ways :-
1. KVPY ( Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana)
It is a national level scholarship test but ranks of KVPY are used for selecting students for admission by IISc Bangalore .
2. JEE Mains / JEE Advance
Admission to students are also given on the basis of rank secured in JEE Mains and JEE Advance . You can either get admission based on your Mains rank or Advance rank.
3 . NEET
Admission to students are also given on the basis of rank secured in your NEET examination .

To get admission in iisc banglore for the undergraduate courses eligibility is -
The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard. Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.
So with biology, physics and chemistry if you have mathematics you can get admission in iisc banglore. Otherwise you are not eligible.
The admission are taken through the entrance exams jee mains, kvpy, jee advance and neet. Student have to apply on the official website for admission.

There are three channels through which one can get admission to Bs-MS and B.S programs in IISC.
Through any of the above channel you can get a seat in IISC.
