BOOKS FOR IIT JAM MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS

shivamtrivedi0005 11th Oct, 2023

Hello aspirant,

The most crucial need for passing the IIT JAM MA test is having a solid understanding of the fundamentals.

For no more than one month, learn the arithmetic of +1 and +2. This will provide you with a solid basis of really practical formulas.

The majority of the questions come from real analysis and linear algebra, thus those are the next subjects you should study. Avoid purchasing expensive books with flashy titles as they are not required for IIT JAM. Recommendations for books in your college course should be followed because they are based on the subjects and information that are genuinely required.

Some of the books I can recommend you are:

1. Calculus - Thomas Finney
2. Real Analysis - Bartle and Sherbet
3. Linear Algebra - Serge Lang
4. Probability - Sheldon Ross

Thank you

Hope it helps you

i have scored 75.6 percent in cbse board exam can i able get into any iit,nit and iiit

shivamtrivedi0005 10th Oct, 2023

Hello aspirant,

The 75% mark requirement for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs has been reinstated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To be admitted to these institutions beginning in 2023, applicants must pass the JEE Main test and achieve a minimum grade point average of 75% in their Class 12 board exams.

So as your score is more than 75 percent, you can give JEE Mains test and get into IITs or NIITs.

Thank you

Hope it helps you.

Does some engineering college also provide admission without IIT?

shivamtrivedi0005 5th Oct, 2023

Hii There,

Certainly, it's possible to pursue a BTech degree in India without relying on the JEE Mains exam. There are alternative routes for admission, including state-level entrance exams like UPSEE, WBJEE, KCET, and college-specific entrance exams such as BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, or even admission criteria based on class 12th results.

Moreover, it's important to note that JEE Mains is not exclusively designed for IIT admissions. Other prestigious engineering colleges like DTU and NITs in the Delhi NCR region also consider JEE Mains results for admitting students into their BTech programs.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks

How many percentage in 12 required to be eligible for IIT?

shivamtrivedi0005 5th Oct, 2023

Hii There,

Class 12 marks do not carry any significance in the calculation of JEE Main ranks. It's important for students to understand that their ranking is solely determined by their performance in the entrance examination. However, when it comes to admissions to prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and CFTIs, the candidates' class 12 board exam scores are considered. In such cases, candidates are required to have achieved a minimum of 75 percent, while for SC/ST candidates, the minimum is 65 percent.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks
