The post Graduate program in Materials Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur is designed for the students with background in metallurgical engineering, materials science and/or engineering, other appropriate engineering disciplines, polymers, ceramics, physics and chemistry. Written exam is conducted for the same in the month of May.The exam paper is divided into two sections.

The cutoff in the final round for Statistics at IIT Kanpur in 2019 (General category) was 57.
As you would know, this only gives an estimated idea as to what the closing Rank could be in the successive years. The actual closing Rank would depend on the difficulty of the exam and appeared candidates.
