Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
No MBA is tailor made for a particular engineering branch. Say for example if you take IIT Kapur which you have tagged here - The Department of Industrial & Management Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur offers MBA with specializations in sectoral areas of Manufacturing Management and Service Management besides the functional areas of Operations, Systems, Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management.
What I suggest you do is check all the MBA programmes, check the ones offered for Engineerings - NITIE Mumbai has some and other IITs too, see which sparks off your interests and then check the eligibility. Go for it. All the best!
Hello Sandip,
As per previous years counselling, for a General Category Male candidate the AIR should be less than 3000.
In case you have any reservation the the cutoff depends on that,
All the best!
Yes,
It is wonderful to pursue MS at IIT Kanpur !
A word of advice…pursue your MS with great zeal…you may very find an excellent thesis supervisor for pursuing your PhD at IIT Kanpur itself…many suffer from a mindless obsession with phoren university for PhD ! One would be surprised by the possibilities for PhD within Indian Institutions…if only they are explored !
MS is a 2-year programme, some highly focussed students can complete it in 18 months.
It would be tough to provide you the cutoff as officially there is no any information & nothing disclosed for M.Sc Integrated programme in IIT Kanpur.
Good Luck!

So, to study MBA at IIT Kanpur, you will need to appear for CAT exam which is scheduled to happen on November 25, 2018, Sunday.

Do you belong to General Category ??
If not then please mention your category rank
Dear student,
There are less chances of getting IIT Delhi or KGP in subsequent rounds. So i suggest you to freeze a seat in IIT Roorkee. You apply for Delhi and KGP in case you get a seat you can withdraw as well.
