Maximum Marks vary every year like below:
2017- 366
2016- 372
2015 - 504
2014 - 360
So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs

If you want to apply admission in IIT kanpur,then you need to appear for JEE MAINS exam you need to be qualified in that then later,you need to appear in IIT-JEE exam,and based on your rank your branch and your seat in the college will be alloted,But it is not sure that just by attending the exam you will get admission in the college,You need to get a sufficient rank according to the college cutoff rank!All the best
