Hi aspirant,
You belong to SC category. Last year in seventh round of Counselling the maximum rank which was able to procure seat in Indian Institute of Technology Madras was 1712 for Ocean Engineering and 1312 for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Therefore, to get top branches you need to get rank below them. To be able to secure rank equal to this or less than this you need to score 80+ approximately in JEE Advanced.
Hope it helps you.

If you are looking forward to getting your UG or PG degree, then the answer to your question is YES. An IIT Madras degree is worth it, undoubtedly.
According to the 2020 NIRF Rankings, IIT Madras topped the list. However, most consider IIT Bombay to have greater brand value but that doesn't mean IIT Madras is any far behind. Every year companies such as Microsoft, Uber (US), Micron Tech (Singapore) & Rubrik Inc (US) provide placements to the students. Moreover it has top-notch faculty and infrastructure.
In short, if you ask whether the degree is worth it or not, I'll give you a small example- Most people won't even bat an eye if you graduate from any private engineering college with an average GPA, but if it is IIT Madras or any other IIT for the matter your life in the corporate world automatically becomes easier. So if you are willing to get into IIT Madras, go for it.
Wishing you all the success in life.
