As you mentioned you belong to commerce stream you can only join Indian Army (not navy) after 12th through NDA entry,or even later after graduation through CDS as far as officer cadre is concerned. Officers joining air force and navy need to be of science background.

For Navy, cadet should be a Naval wing NCC cadet also must have a B.Tech degree. No 3 year degrees like B.Sc, BA , B.com are allowed.

you can join the merchant navy course after 12th class from the commerce stream . Any Class X pass students or higher but from non-science background can join the Merchant Navy by enrolling for the GP Rating Course. Candidates should be physically and medically fit, as per Merchant Shipping rules.

There are various ways to join in Indian Navy after passing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Common Defence Service Entrance Examination (CDSE): You must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized board. Your age must be in between 19-24 years. Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
• NCC Entry: You must have obtained NCC ‘C’ certificate with minimum ‘B’ grading and 50% marks in Bachelor's degree from a recognized board.
• Short Service Commission: Indian Navy will release the notification along with the vacancies and the required eligibility criteria to apply. Please check the eligibility criteria before applying.

There are no direct entries to join in Indian Navy. You must appear for the written test in case of CDS and if you qualify you will be called for SSB Interview. The selection through SSC Entry and NCC Entry will be based on the score in the qualifying examination. Candidates shortlisting need to attend SSB Interview.

There is no such direct entry, but you can join the Indian Navy by passing the Indian Navy Recruitment Examination (INREX). The all the recruitment agencies and the training academies of all the different entries are different. However, the major agencies that recruit the candidates are UPSC, SSC, Additional Directorate General, and SSB.

There are many ways from which you can join Indian Navy like NDA, Navy AA/SSR entry, CDS, INET, SSC-tech.

But Its seems that you are overage for all types of entries, age criteria for each entry is given below.

After 12th.

• NDA-   16.5-19.5 years
• AA/SSR-   17-20 years

And if you complete your graduation then it will take around 3 years so that time you will be overaged for all type of entries, age limit for graduation types entries are given below

After Graduation.

• CDA-   19-22 years
• INET-    19-24 years
• SSC-tech-   19-24 years
• UES entry-   19-25 years.

So there is a chance that you can join Navy with UES entry scheme but there also you will get only only one chance.

Yes, you can apply for Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021 for course commencing from April 2022. Indian Navy SSR and Indian Navy MR are two different posts and the eligibility criteria is different. The Education Qualification requirement is that you must have passed Class 10th from a board recognized by Government of India. You must be born in between April 1, 2002 to  March 31, 2005. If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria you can apply for Indian Navy MR recruitment for the post of Chef, Hygienist and Steward.

I hope you are doing fine, The answer is ‘No' if you are talking about the officer level entry. But my answer will be ‘Yes' if you have a Post Graduation(MCA). As we know, about 80% of all officer level entries in Indian Navy are strictly for BE/B.Tech graduates only. So if you are having any graduation other than this, then it will be a tough competition.

The only eligible entry for an MCA graduate is INET(O) which is held twice a year. But still the eligibility is limited to 2 following cadres only,

• SSC Logistics
• SSC IT(Information Technology)
