I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that their are various number of options for a female to get into an indian navy.
Female candidate can go into an indian navy through various number of branches like:
1.NAVAL architecture
2. Observer
3. Logistics work
4. Law
Any of the above branch a female can go into after doing btech in any disicpline with atleast 60 percent in bachelors and having physics,maths in 12th standard.

The recruitment process of Indian Navy
There are two types of Position in Indian Navy. One is Sailor and the other one is Officer. There are few entrance examinations through which you can get a job in the Indian Navy. Such as, NDA (UPSC) I, NDA (UPSC) II, Combined Defence Service Exam - I - CDSE (UPSC), Combined Defence Service Exam - II - CDSE (UPSC), 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry, Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), Artificer Apprentice (AA), SSR Entry. The main exam of Indian Navy Officer Recruitment is INET Entry. The selection procedure is computer based written examination followed by SSB and bachelors degree in engineering with 60% aggregate in all semesters. Besides these, the candidates must have physics and mathematics during their higher secondary examination. The age limit is 16 to 24. This is only for the male candidates. There are two papers in this Examination. One paper consisting of Mathematics and the another paper consisting with General Awareness and English. A Fitness Test is also conducted by the authority at the next round every year. It is a permanent job.
As you are going to complete polytechnic diploma in Mining Engineering, the process will be different from others. You must have passed 10th or 12th or any diploma with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Your age should be 16.5 to 19 years and it is obvious that you should be physically fit. Diploma Polytechnic students can join Merchant Navy only if the student have Mechanical or Electrical and it's sub branches. A diploma Engineer can join course which will finally lead to BE or BS Marine Engineering. After that the Engineer can join vessel as TME.

You can give examination of CDS to get a position in Indian Navy, the eligibility age for indian Navy is 19-24, while for Airforce academy it's 19-23.
You can also get job in officers training academy at the age of 19-25.

In several colleges from the country including the Indian Institute of Technology, there are chances of changing stream in the first year itself based on the semester and academic performance of the particular Candidate.
So, if you are mechanical stream and want to change your computer science engineering, then you are eligible for that if you score a certified amount of marks equivalent CGPA in your 1st year. For more details, you have to contact your college counselor.

The pay and allowances is different for each post in Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. As you have not mentioned the post we take into consideration the pay and allowances for flying branch in Indian Air Force and officers entry in Indian Navy. For both the posts the pay matrix level is 10. The pay scale for Flying officer is Rs. 56,100-1,10,700 and for officers entry it is Rs. 56100-177500. Military Service Pay for Fying officer is Rs 15,500 Per Month and for officers entry is Rs. 15500. The salary increase with the service in the respective fields and rank. Besides this there are other facilities in Indian Navy as well as in India Air Force such as health care, travel and leave concession, Accommodation, CSD, Insurance etc.
One can join Indian navy By joining NDA as cadet after 10+2 with min 70% aggregate or after diploma with min 7.0 cgpa and having no backlogs.

If your query is regarding Indian Navy B.Tech 10+2 cadet entry for which the online application is ongoing then yes, you need to enter the marks scored in class 12th Examination, you shouldn't enter the marks scored in class 12th. To be eligible for this entry you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 70% aggregate marks and you must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in English in class 10th or class 12th. Candidates must have appeared for JEE Main 2020 paper 1 and the selection for SSB interview is based on All India Rank.

Yes, you need to add your practical marks with your theory/subject marks to get total score out of 100 in a particular subject in 12th class. You can also check your 12th class scoresheet, there must be a column of theory, column of practical marks and then the addition of two, total marks. You can mention total marks in the application form.
