Yes you can. If you meet the criteria. There are certain posts which are for PWD candidates like the post of Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV. Similarly there are various posts identified for respective categories.

If you think of getting a job in IOCL then you must have to clear GATE exam in that respective year.
However, you have to clear IOCL GATE Cut off marks for GD/GT/Interview for mechanical engineering is GEN(80Marks) OBC(75Marks) SC(65Marks) ST(60Marks) with respect to last year data.

And if you think of getting a job in Indian Railway then you have to clear IES exam in that respective year. IES exam pattern of two stages; stage:1 is IES Prelims and stage:2 is IES Mains.Here are the list of different IES post for ME.

Last year cutoff for For ONGC Recruitment through GATE. the cut-offs are mentioend below:-

For Chemist:-

• General-577
• OBC-422
• SC-311
• ST-316
• PWD-OH-265

IOCL recruited large no. of engg this year (Approx 1500 engg this year, branchwise figures will be known after RTI).For IOCL recruitment, GATE cut-offfs are mentioned below:-
IOCL - 54.01 marks, 650 rank
You would get an interview call if you are under AIR-250(General Category) from top PSU's like NTPC,BHEL,IOCL but mostly they hire the top rankers,however chances are certain and it cannot be denied.

Overall you need marks of 65(minimum) and above to get a call from PSU's.Each year the cut-off changes depending upon the difficulty level
