Information Technology
Hello,
Computer science and Information technology are two different subjects despite having many similarities.
The main difference between CSE and IT engineering course
Computer science engineers (CSE) are involved in many computing perspectives, from the design of microprocessors, PCs, supercomputers to circuit designing and writing programs that power them.
Information Technology (IT) involves using computers and software to save, preserve the process, transmit, and securely recover data. IT professionals deliver various tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.
I am providing a table below that will make you more clear:
Hope this helps
Thank you!
Dear Student ,
As you are asking about startups, so I would suggest you first to gain knowledge in this field more deeply. in IT field , always B.Tech degree is not mandatory , all you just need to explore your preferred zone by job experience , some hands on experience .
For now. I will suggest you to focus on your study and choose any UG degree apart from B,TECH as you've told, you don't like that degree .
In startup case, Skill and knowledge on there required domain is most necessary than any specific degree .

Hello Aspirant,
According to the COMEDK 2022 rank mentioned by you in the question you have good chances in following colleges with mentioned branches :-
Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore - AI & ML
East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore - CSE
Reva University - ECE
K.L.E Society's K.L.E Institute of Technology, Hubli - CSE
Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology & Management, Bangalore - AI & ML
B.N.M. Institute of Technology, Bangalore - EEE
K.L.E Technological University (Formerly known as BVBCET), Hubli - Automation & Robotics Engineering
And some more..........
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and if you are seeking for exact list of colleges that you can get then it is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular college or any specific branch because the cut-off keep on varying every year depending upon various factors such as :-
number of candidates appeared in COMEDK 2022, difficulty level of the paper, top score for COMEDK 2022, total number of seats available for admission and some other factors.......
However you can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/comedk-uget-cutoff
You can also use COMEDK College Predictor for more accurate predictions :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!

Hello aspirant,
The Placements for Computer Science Engineering and communication Engineering at Manipal Main campus are very good, but comparatively, the placements for Communication Engineering is not as good as for the Computer Science and Engineering.
The CS Placements : 1 00 % placements from CSE, 86% from computer stream . The highest, the lowest, average salaries are 15-18 Lacs, 6-8 Lacs, and 3-4 Lacs respectively. Companies with top packages are Goldman Sachs, VMware, Microsoft. Mass recruiters are ACCENTURE and Infosys.
For ECE Placements : the lowest salary offered was around 3 LPA & the highest offered package for ECE was 18 LPA and the average package range is around 4-6 LPA for ECE department. And almost 90-100 % students get placed every year .
so, the bottom line is that the placements are very good for CSE, but it considered to be average for ECE at Manipal main Campus.
Further, to know more about the Manipal Mani Campus and it course, placements, admissions, etc , you cna follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/manipal-institute-of-technology-manipal
I hope that this will help.
Hey aspirant,
BTech software courses are definitely available and are the most demanding demanding specialisations of computer science engineering and information technology. The course is for 4 years and the eligibility is completion of standard 12th from science stream and a recognised university. All the best hope this helps!
Hope you are doing great. A network that has a unified network design and operating system. An Ethernet local area network (LAN) with all machines running Microsoft Windows Server is an example. A gateway is a device that connects two homogenous packet-broadcast local networks.
Gateway is a device that connects two homogenous packet-broadcast local networks. A default gateway connects computers on one network to computers on another network. Without it, the network is cut off from the outside world. Essentially, computers communicate data to other networks (those that do not belong to their local IP range) via the default gateway.
ALL THE BEST
Computer science actually is a study of how to solve theoretical problems, whereas software engineering is a study of how to solve more of practical and real world problem. Software engineers work in computer systems designing firms or those manufacturing companies which design electronic products . Software engineers, also known as software developers create softwares for computers and different applications. Software engineer is very similar to computer science. It's a branch of engineering.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
