Dear aspirant,
No, its not possible to take arts in 11th standard and then shift your stream to engineering and that too in computer science domain.
Information technology is a course for which you need to have knowledge computer science and mathematics atleast. And to gain this knowledge you have to take science in your class 11th.
Hello aspirant,
You can easily adapt all you've learned in commerce to the IT profession; you can go into subjects like database, data analysis, and big data, for example, but you'll probably need some arithmetic abilities as well. Although you cannot directly enrol in engineering courses, you can enrol in BSc, BCA in computer science, and BSc in Information Technology. You might also choose to update your abilities by enrolling in undergraduate diploma and certification programmes. To become a software engineer, you must learn the necessary skills. You will need to study computer programming languages such as Python, Java, C+, C++, and others. In order to work as a software developer, you must be able to code.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.

Dear Student ,
As per your user profile suggests , you are an IT aspirant in Graduation . So, if you want to pursue a career in IT field , then you have to do a B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA course as a graduation .Side by side you can do some online MOOCs courses in several online education platform like Coursera, Udemy, Swayam etc. and develop your coding skills as a beginner by learning the fundamental concepts of these subjects like JAVA, Python, C, C++ from there. After that , you can pursue MCA through passing Entrance exam like NIMCET, JECA etc.
and after MCA , if you've skilled yourself enough throughout the graduation as well as post graduation as per your interest and develop some projects on that , then based on your resume and interview/ assessment results .. you can surely het an IT job in reputed companies through on/off campus like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT etc.

Hope this helps!!
Hi aspirant,
Since you have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subject you have a lot of options open. You can do NDA, Law, BBA, Merchant navy, BSc in various subjects and even Bachelors in designing or architecture. Since you also have computer science as your subject it is pretty much visible that you are interested towards software engineering and trust me it is truly a good option. Now since you are asking about how to make a career in software engineering, at first you need to get admission in a good engineering college that may be private or government but should provide good placements and have proper environment for studies. You would have to write JEE main or other entrance examination such as VITEEE, BITSAT, SRMJEE, AEEE, WBJEE.
Now if you are truly interested to learn it before college starts you can do it with free you resources available online and YouTube videos. You need not give a lot of time but make sure to practice daily.
hope it helps!
