I got 573 marks in inicet 2025 exam, can I get pediatric in jipmer, my category is obc.

gopi 31st May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Given your INICET 2025 score of 573 in OBC category, you definitely have a chance for Pediatrics at JIPMER. I cannot guarantee you the seat as admission not only depends on score but also on the total number of candidates, cut-off marks specified for different categories and availability of seats in that year. Based on my personal experience of preparing for INICET for the past two years, generally, more than 570 score in OBC category is competitive, but you realize or know this may vary technically for final allotment.

air 8600 obc category in inicet , which branch and college do i get

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello there,

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 8600 in INICET under the OBC category, your chances of admission depend on the participating institutes and available branches. Generally, at this rank, you may get admission to:

  • Less competitive branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering in many private and some government institutes.

  • Possibly some computer-related branches in private colleges with lower cutoffs.

Top government or highly sought-after colleges and branches like Computer Science or Electronics may be difficult to get at this rank.

It is recommended to check the official counselling lists and seat allotment updates for precise college and branch options available for your rank and category.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

I got a rank10551 in inicet may2025.DoI have any chancesto get paediatrics in any aims.l am in General catagory

Rubina Naseer 24th May, 2025

Hello,

Obtaining a seat in paediatrics at any AIIMS is extremely unlikely given a rank of 10,551 in the General category of the INI-CET May 2025. While more recent AIIMS campuses may have 200–300 students, paediatrics at prestigious AIIMS like Delhi used to close within the ranks of 18–50. It is advisable to think about other specialities or institutions where the cutoff is higher given your rank. To increase your chances of landing a postgraduate medical seat, actively participate in all counselling rounds, including mop-up rounds, and maintain flexibility in your options.

All the best.

For mbbs other than do I need to write other exam to be eligible for jipmer Medical college. What is ini cet

Rajeswari 22nd May, 2025

NO, you need not to appear for any other exams except NEET for admission of MBBS in JIPMER medical college. Admission to the JIPMER MBBS course is done only through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG , which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical programmes in India.

INI CET, provides admission into PG courses such as Masters of Surgery [MS], Doctor of Medicine [MD], Master of Dental Surgery [MDS],  Doctorate of Medicine [DM] and Master of Chirurgie (MCh) at 23 Institutions including 19 AIIMS across the country as well as JIPMER(Puducherry), PGIMER(Chandigarh), and NIMHANS(Bengaluru), and SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

I hope your query is resolved now. All the best for your future.

I am a a foreign medical student cleared my fmge exam and currently doing my internship I did not received my provisional registration yet I fulfill all the eligibility criteria for inicet exam can I enter my Maharashtra medical council application number in place of provisional registration number

Devanshi Goyal 7th May, 2025

HELLO,

Congratulations on clearing your FMGE and beginning your internship.

regarding the INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) eligibility:

so to be eligible, you must typically have provisional or permanent registration with MCI/NMC or a state medical council and you need to provide the relevant registration number during the application process.

unfortunately an application number is not equivalent to a provisional registration number because the INI-CET form is very specific they require a valid registration number which confirms that you are officially registered as a medical practitioner with the NMC or a recognized State Medical Council.

Using just your application number may cause your application to be rejected during document verification even if you meet all eligibility criteria.

so what you can do is :

contact MMC immediately to check the status of your provisional registration and request expedited processing if possible.

Reach out to the INI-CET helpdesk or AIIMS exam authorities to ask if there is any temporary provision or alternative documentation they accept if your provisional number is pending.

Hope this helps

i do not have provisional ragistration number can i apply for ini cet exam on basis of application number for provisional ragistration

Prachi Kumari 12th Apr, 2025

Hello,

No, you cannot apply for the INI CET exam using just your application number. You must have either a provisional or permanent registration number from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or Dental Council of India (DCI) at the time of online registration. Without this, your application will not be accepted.

If you have applied for provisional registration but haven't received the number yet, it's best to wait until you get it before submitting your INI CET application. Also, remember that during the final admission process, you will need to provide your permanent registration certificate.

Hope it helps !

If you decide to withdraw from the allotted pathology seat after round 3, you may have to  face a penalty, typically a percentage of the fees or a fixed charge. For specific details, it’s best to review the withdrawal guidelines provided by the university.
