Is V K Jaiswal Book Is Sufficient For INORGANIC CHEMISTRY for JEE MAIN & ADVANCE?

Anantika Kushwaha 28th Feb, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

The book is good and you'll gain a lot from it. However it is not sufficient. You'll have to purchase the book having previous years questions in it. Without solving any question and just studying you won't get any idea of the type of questions asked. The book is good but I won't say sufficient.

please tell me the strategy to read inorganic chemistry

Muskan 28th Jan, 2020

Hi Alok

Inorganic chemistry could be little bit of a problem. To study inorganic chemistry you can do the following :

Pick up NCERT book read it and mark the reactions. Go topic - wise . Make one chart for each compound of an element by seeing reaction from book. Start off with one compound . see the chart completely . now , on a blank paper , write out the complete chart without referring the original chart . If you can't try again.Practice them thoroughly.

You need to write reaction then only you can memorize well trust me it takes time but result will be fruitful.

All the best !!

Hope it helps :)

if i live whole inorganic chemistry so is there is chancr to cracked neet by good marks ??

Siddhi Shenoy 16th Jan, 2020

Hello Alok,

If you prepare organic chemistry section very thoroughly, it should be enough as most of the questions are based on organic part only. But, if you want to get a good score, focus on the other 2 subjects that is biology and physics properly. In chemistry, learn organic chemistry well. Also, it is advisable to go through chapters like coordination compounds and periodic block elements as these are the scoring chapters.

Good luck!

which is best way for preparation of inorganic chemistry ??

Vikas gehlot 11th Jan, 2020

In inorganic chemistry first you need to divide the syllabus in two parts one is conceptual and other is memory based the conceptual part is the structure of the compounds hybridisation theories of structure of compounds and the memory based part is the reactions and the properties of compounds.

For the first part you can understand the topic well and and practice new questions and consider the exceptions well also if you look at the previous years questions of the competitive exams then you can understand it some compounds which are also in the syllabus of the exams are structures therefore you need to focus more on that part on the second part that is memory based in it to remember each and everything but the problem lies when students don't have proper knowledge of the syllabus therefore you should have Chrisp and clear knowledge of the syllabus and only prepare from the syllabus try to revise daily.

Afterwards strat with Cengage Inorganic Chemistry and then move to Concise Inorganic chemistry by J.D Lee .And finally go through previous year questions.
This will be enough for a good score.
