Electrical Engineering in Lucknow University Vs Instrumentation Engineering Fee Waiver In IERT allahabad. Which one is better? (Placement is not really my priority my priority is to prepare for govt exams)
You definitely need to prioritize your goal as well as understand the need of having a good backup in Engineering background.
I would suggest you to go for electrical engineering in Lucknow university as at present ECE is a better option than instrumentation engineering.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Madhur
I have got IERT allahabad Instrumentation And Control Engineering fee Waiver Should I Take This College? Placement is not really my number one priority i want a good college with nice study.
Hi Aspirant,
IERT Allahabad, formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, is accredited by the All India Technical Education Council (AICTE). The college offers admission to various undergraduate degrees B. Tech courses. College is nice in terms of research. The Faculty is really concerned about student education. The professors are hard-working and knowledgeable. The college has all the necessary facilities, such as a library, a laboratory, a health centre, a computer centre. Placements at the campus are hardly provided. Some students are also being put in outside companies.
- Infrastructure: This college has a high-end infrastructure. With all the facilities in place, the classrooms are very spacious and lighted. The auditorium is very large, the laboratory and the computer Centre are both very well equipped with all the necessary equipment.
- Placement: Placement are average for this college.
- Academics: Quality of teaching is good. Faculties are highly qualified here.
So I'd recommend that you go to this college because you're also getting a fee waiver, and this placement isn't that poor instrumentation. Placements here are average. Academics is one of the strong point of this college.

I got 70000 in jee mains 2020 and I am interested in Instrumentation engineering. What are the colleges can I expect for this rank?
Hi Gowtham,
You have obtained 70,000 rank in JEE Main and are interested in pursuing Instrumentation Engineering. It would be difficult to tell you your exact possibilities without knowing your category. However, if you do not belong to some reserved categories then chances are very less that you will get Instrumentation Engineering in good colleges, at least in colleges like NITs and IIITs. And if not you might have some chances. You can use the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link to know your college options based on your rank and category. https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

I am getting fee waiver seat in IERT allahabad for instrumentation and control engineering should i take it or go for some other college.Placement is not really my goal for b.tech i want to go for higher education or some govt job?
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that your main goal is government job or higher studies and your placement is not a priority.
So i would recommend you to go for this college as you are also getting fee waiver and this placement is not that bad of instrumentation. The placements are average here.
I have got fee waiver seat in IERT allahabad in instrumentation and control engineering should i take it?
The ratings for IERT lucknow has dropped this year and also the branch you are getting is not that popular and the placements are not that good even. So may be you could wait for the next rounds and float the seat to get some better options in the next rounds.
