I have applied for Msc. clinical psychology at Kristu jayanti college, Bengaluru . my counseling session for the same is going to be held on 26 February 2022. wanted to know what type of questions are asked in the interview round of the same is it easy or difficult.

Moumoyee Chakraborty 25th Feb, 2022

Dear applicant

when it comes to participation in counselling rounds the first thing you need is confidence. The Questionnaire will ask you basic questions regarding

  • the reason of choosing the course
  • some basic questions from your curriculum
  • the upcoming trend of the course according to your point of view
  • the career you would like to pursue in this field.

Hope it helps!!!

Hi everyone need your help Im in 3rd year of my bba and my graduation will complete in July end 2022 Im thinking about to prepare CAT exam and I want to ask that from July Ive only 3 months for CAT do I really need to do a job for interview purpose ? After CAT as Ive classes on the way.

Tirthajyoti Kulu 13th Jan, 2022

Hello

Hope you are doing good. As you are in the final year of your BCA course you have your final exam in JULY after that you can prepare for the CAT exam. There is nothing mandatory to do a job, If you are look-in for tier 1 b schools they give a slight preference to working candidates but it is also depending on interview round. Best of luck, prepare well.

Sir as the final marks is 256+ for IMA through CDS. So my question is that whether that marks is out of 300 or out off the total marks including SSB and what is the qualifying marks of SSB interview. How is the marks calculated for making the merit list could you please explain me.

piyush263001 13th Jan, 2022

Hello,

The merit list that is published after the SSB highlighting the marks are the total marks the candidate has secured after the OTA Examination + Marks secured in SSB Interview.

SSB Marking System-

------There Are Three Assessors, Wherein Each Will Assess From 300 Marks I.E. Medical Test, GTO (Group Task) And Personal Interview (PI). One has to Score Minimum 90 From Each Assessor. The total marks of SSB Is 900. It Is Further Divided Into 4 Parts ( Psychology, GTO, Interview And Conference Round) I.E 900/4= 225 Marks for each Test Phase. Out Of This 225 marks, You need to get Minimum 90 marks to get A "Yes" from either of the assessors and getting less than 90 marks simply means "No".

------ During First, 4 Days of SSB interview Includes Screening, Psychological Tests, GTO Tasks And Personal Interview. In this way, The minimum marks you would be required to pass Is 90*3= 270 marks. For Example -

1) One Candidate Gets 80 marks In Interview Round, 70 In GTO Round And 75 In Psychology. The Total Comes To 225 marks.

2) Another candidate gets a total of 250 out of minimum of 270 marks required. Thus, Now Comes The Importance of Conference Round. In the event that Your Marks Are More Than 240, Conference round would decide whether you would be recommended or not.

---- Also I must tell you that there isn't any minimum cut off for SSB interview process.

During the Personal Interview for an IIM, if I reveal that my career goal is primarily to expand my family business, will it create a hurdle for my chances of selection ?

Rituparna Priyadarshini 12th Jan, 2022

Hello

When you are appearing for an interview you need to focus on answering the questions in a way that help increase your chance in getting accepted. You should focus more on answering in a way that shows your enthusiasm for the course and the college. It is fine if you say you want to expand your family business. But it also depends upon the interviewer and whatbthey are looking for . For more tips follow the link given below:-

you yakes an interview base or any entrances exam

Anushri Varshney 9th Jan, 2022

Hello Chitra,

It seems like you have posted an incomplete query due to which I am not able to understand what you are asking here.

Let me reframe this query, I think you want to ask that " you take an interview based or entrance exam" selection. But still it lags many things that are required to provide you an appropriate solution.

Apart from this there are many institutions who take admisisons based on entrance exams and some takes interviews for shortilisting candidates.

Hope you understand.

Revert incase of any query and kindly post again for better reach.

Thanks!!!!

(NMAT is evaluated for specified programs only.)

The cut-off will be less for Odisha domicile students.
