Hy,
While the process for admissions in arts, commerce, and science colleges affiliated to Gujarat University is under way, 10% seats have been reserved for CBSE and ICSE students.
In all the faculties associated with GU, 90% seats are reserved for Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) students and 10% for other board students, including the central board.
About 4,100 seats are reserved in five courses including commerce for students of CBSE and other boards. Similarly, about 6,000 seats are reserved in science and arts courses.
Hopes this helps.
Wish you luck

Hey there!
Honestly, the board doesn't matter but grades in the selected stream does when one tries to seek and admission in higher degrees.
As far as the difference between CBSE and ISC is concerned, the difference nullifies at the time of admission via entrance or interview where the selection is done on the basis of a person's knowledge about the selected stream rather than board one chose earlier.
When one moves to higher studies with these subjects, do check for the career opportunities, internships offered and the jobs that are associated with these streams. Different colleges offer different opportunities and placements. Look well for them.
Good Luck!
The main difference that arises in the ISC Commerce subjects and CBSE Business Studies is of the course content that they both comprises of. Although the former one comprises of the main subjects that are associated with the commerce field, the latter one includes few extra subjects which enhance their overall understanding of the commerce environment.
As far as career opportunities with respect to both of them are concerned, they are equally distributed.
Both are good with respect to career path and enhancing a person's whole ideas about the related subjects.
Hi,
If you have chosen Commerce stream in 11th standard then you will be studying accounts, commerce, economics, business studies, etc as a part of your syllabus. After 10th board, you can choose science or commerce or arts. There is no stream called business studies & in Commerce stream, you need to study business studies as a part of your course. You cannot choose to only study business studies in ISC. So, in this case you don't even get to decide which is better. Business studies is a part of the entire commerce stream like Chemistry is not better than Science. If you study in science stream, you study chemistry as a part of the syllabus.
Hope you got some clarity.
The answer to this is YES!
One becomes eligible to appear for CLAT just after passing 12th standard be it from any stream.
Generally, Commerce stream is considered good for appearing in the CLAT examination for various reasons, the main one is the subjects that are included in this stream.
Hope for the best!
