My daughter wants to study biology in college. What subject choice she can get in ISC? Can she choose maths, chemistry, biology, and any other subject thwn physics?

Kritika Chopra 14th Jul, 2021

Hello,

For studying biology in college, your daughter needs to opt for Science stream in class 11th.

The subject choice which she can fill is- Biology+ Physics+ Chemistry+ English+ any other optional subject like Mathematics/Hindi/Computer Science/ Physical Education.

Since English is compulsory in ISC, it cannot be neglected. Furthermore, Physics is also compulsory with Biology, so it can not be replaced by any other subject.

Hope it helps!

What is the code of a student of 12th standard of ISC School? ISC did not take place, results are also awaited. Is it Code 01 or Code 02?

Akash Singh 14th Jul, 2021

Dear student,

You should fill Code 1.

Since you have not got result of class 12th, then you will be considered as a appearing student and according to the terms you it comes under Code 1.

Code 1 says that all the students who are appearing for class 12th in 2021 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are meant to fill code 1.

Aspirants who will be taking the Class 12 exam or waiting for the results can choose this code. Students must, however, provide the necessary documentation as proof of eligibility for the exam when the results are announced.

For more information about codes, you can go through the link below.

You have nothing to worry about it. As you have selected the result awaiting option then you should wait for some time and IISER will release notification for the update of marks in the portal. According to you, you scored 87% in class 12 and 75 percentile in JEE Main 2021 then your rank would be around 255750 - 287500 . There is minimum chance to get admission in JIIT Noida because your rank is quite high. And according  to the previous year, the closing rank of JIIT Noida for CSE course is 54056.

how to score around 90 to 95 percent in class 12 isc if started studying from july in PCMB???? PLS REPLY

anirudha vats 7th Jul, 2021

Hey,

It's never too late to start anything and you have started from July you have ample of time left before your class 12th boards.

First and the foremost step should be that you should analyse the past year question papers and figure out the important chapters from exam point of view.

This is the time for smart work rather than hard work. You need to be more specific with the your choices and the type of hard work you want to do.

Prepare a proper schedule and then move ahead with your studies. Don't loosen on your schedule.

Set targets in advance and complete the targets in the decided time.

All the very best

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

I got 97% (Eng + best 3) in ISC class 12 board...Can I get admission to DU north campus in BSc (Hons) in Maths or Computer Science or Statistics...

Atul Singh 16th Aug, 2021

Dear Student,

You've got a good score to choose the DU in science stream but not sure you will get north campus because the cutoff marks of North campuses are little bit high. You can only expect north campus if your score was more than 98.5, and there is a high chance that you will get south campus in any of the branch of science you have mentioned.

For more details you can go go to this link to predict the suitable campus of DU for your stream according to your percentage.

i got 84% in best four in isc board (obc) can i get admission in delhi university for bcom program

Karam Vir 15th Aug, 2021

Hey,

If we go as per the previous year stats, it is bit difficult to get admission into Delhi University with 84% for the B.Com (//B.Com) program. You can check the details over here: https://university.careers360.com/articles/du-cutoff

The cutoff may vary as it depends upon factors such as number of students applying for admission, Number of seats available and category of the candidate. You can check the colleges in which you have chances for admission by checking our DU College Predictor: https://university.careers360.com/delhi-university-college-predictor

what is merit percentage in isc 12th board to get admission into Loyola College Chennai for pursuing bsc.mathematics

Ashish Ramtari 8th Aug, 2021

Hey there

Every year the cutoffs which are required for taking admission in Loyola College ranges between 90 to 95% which is quite tough to achieve. You need to prepare very well for scoring 90+ marks.

Besides this, Loyola College is a prominent college which is ranked 4th for Science by the Week in 2020. The average package offered to any student was 5.5 lakh per annum.

I got 96% in class 12th ISC board 2021, But If I remove physical education for DU best of four criteria it becomes 93.3? Is there any option that I can add physical education in best of four/five? If I choose BA programme in( Political Science+ Physical Education or History + Physical Education)?

Manisha nayak 4th Aug, 2021

Hello students ,

First of all i will like to tell you the the admission process in Delhi University .For admission in du you first have to register with you email id and phone number , then you have to log in through your  registered phone number or email id after log in you have to fill the basic details , educational details then you have to choose the courses after choosing the courses you have to pay the fees and submit the form. Then wait for the cutoff to be release, if you have the required cutoff in any particular college then go to that college do the paper work and get admission there.

Now, that you are saying you want to add physical education in your best fours to get admission in BA programme so i would like to tell you that yes you can do so but let me make you aware that if you will do so you have to go through certain disadvantage too as by adding physical education in your best 4 or 5 you have deduction of percentage somewhat like - 2.5 , for example if the cut off is around 94 % and after adding physical education in your best 4 you are getting 96% but after going to through the criteria you will have deduction of -2.5% so your percentage for the cutoff going to be 93.5% . So , be wisely make your decisions if by getting disadvantage too you are getting a good cutoff for the admission do add physical education in your best 4 or 5 subjects.

Hope this helps you a lot! Thankyou
