Aerospace Engineering is a branch of Engineering that provides skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecrafts, aircrafts, missiles and weapons systems. A large part of Aerospace Engineering consists of Mechanical Engineering covering a wide range of topics, including computer application, structures, mathematics, physics, drafting, electricity, robotics, aeronautics etc. It also covers two aspects of engineering, namely Aeronautical Engineering and Astronomical Engineering. Aerospace Engineering is considered to among the toughest branches of engineering that has carved its niche among the students. However, once completed this course gives 'wings' to your career taking it to new heights.
ISRO was formed in 1969 with a vision to develop and harness space technology in national development, while pursuing planetary exploration and space science research. ISRO replaced its predecessor, INCOSPAR (Indian National Committee for Space Research), established in 1962.

There is no such information available on the official website if mit also companies like isro hire only from iit and nit but you do not need to worry as for btech graduates icrb exam is held which has two stages written and interview and you get selected on that basis but for mtech it is a bit tricky as you have to apply at various centres of isro depending upon vacancy if any and there is no central exam for mtech graduates so you have to move accordingly
See ISRO recruits most number of Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics engineering. But in general, the vacancies for the Computer Science and Engineering graduates are also released. I would recommend you to go for the MTech in CSE branch in order to have a better possibility of getting recruited in ISRO.
For getting into ISRO, the most probable place to go for is IIST in order to get recruited. Now the closest field you can go for is the MTech in VLSI & Microsystems/MTech Machine Learning and Computing at IIST and if you have CGPA above 8 then you will be placed directly to ISRO.
Apart from this you can go for the IIT's which will give you a push in your academic background during Personal Interviews. Above everything to get in ISRO, is the knowledge so college don't matter, what matters is your skill and what you learn. So be rigorous with that.
